Their goalie outplays our goalie. That's been the cause of way too many of our losses. Can't lose to Calgary and Edmonton in back to back games. That's a way to get buried in the standings.
When did Jackman become a offensive dmen?
No our defense has been abysmal.
When he scored goals in back-to-back games earlier in the season, duh...
As has their's, yet we're down by 3. Why is that? Khabibulin has made the big saves, and Allen did not. I'm not blaming Allen entirely, just saying he hasn't played as well as Khabibulin and there's no denying that.

The Blues continue to shoot low or right in his chest,no goalie is going to stop Eberle 5 ft out when he puts in right under the bar.
Allen deserves no blame whatsoever. All three goals were complete and total breakdowns that lead to glorious chances for their best players. He had no chance on any of them.
Well Perron should have put that puck in deep before he lost it. Pietrangelo never even had control of that puck, it amazes me people think the was his fault. The play should have been getting the puck in deep and it has been like that since last season.See, I disagree with this. AP made the bad play. He steps up, chips the puck to himself, then doesn't get the pick deep. Perron gets the puck and has to make a snap decision. But at this point he's already in a vulnerable position due to AP not making the play. I find it hard to pin that play on Perron.
Could he have tried to put it up the wall? Sure. But AP and the Oiler player were both standing directly in front of him. Not to mention he's right handed and literally right up against the boards. Not much room for leverage there. He -was- trying to get it deep imo, it just happened that he decided to try and go more towards the middle of the ice, where he had more leverage, and it popped off a pad right to the Oilers.
Not to mention Jacks totally misplayed the two on one, he was actually stepping forward when Perron made the play, instead of playing conservative and making sure the puck went in deep before following it up....then he couldn't decide if he wanted to skate forwards or backwards, ending up putting himself behind the play in general, and forced to make a diving-forward-stick-stretched-out prayer on the play, where if he had just skated a little better would have been in a much better position to block that pass.
Does Perron deserve some blame for that goal? Yes. But AP and Jacks both had opportunities to make stronger plays and didn't.

Well you aren't going to score on a break when you try to elevate and its at pad level, not on the ice,not five hole, and not up enough to get over the glove/blocker.SSSHHHHHH. Don't say the Blues are shooting to the chest. The Bulin wall is standing tall tonight.
