Sorry to hear that. Way too young to go! He's been a big Blues fan for a long, long time. He had a great sense of humour. We'll miss him a lot.

Yep Allen back in, no surprise as Halak had a pretty weak game the other night against Calgary.

So if Allen doesn't post a shutout, Halak can point to his own shutout against the Oilers last week as a reason to keep Allen benched.

No DVR? I usually deliberately wait about an hour to start watching the game that way I can fast forward through commercials and intermissions. Although, that's why I'm usually never in the GDT's during the game...

I do the same thing. I don't really see the point of posting live in the GDT. Its too emotional and usually lacks reason, the things said in the heat of battle.

I also prefer the half-assed GDTs. I think they should at least make some reference to hockey, though.
