Yes. That's my point. Even if today Larkin denied the whole thing and said he wants to be a Red Wing for life, I'd still trade him. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube for two reasons:What if he hasn't asked for it? Does the trade still need to happen?
1) If there was zero truth to this to begin with, then one or both sides would have immediately spoken out against it. But with how this has unfolded, plus the statements after the 2025 trade deadline and the end of season press conferences, there's more disagreement than just your standard grumbling from somebody having a bad day. The locker room has issues that need to be fixed.
2) This roster is broken even with Larkin. Shake things up, fix the timeline, and move forward with a shot down the road of being more than a first round exit.
