Uugggh, Watchdogs 2 looked cool till the hipster doosh main characters started talking.

2nd Worst Characters ever, since Need for Speed went full-product placement.

**nokia phone rings**
"Hey man! where are you?
I'm sitting in my pimped out Toyota Celica, parked near the Burger King, just across from the TGI Fridays.
I'm wearing my Quicksilver hoodie, and Yellow Nike Shoes, you can't Miss me! I'll be listening to the new Pink album on these Bose Speakers I just had installed!

See you soon!

Hey pass the mountain dew and no hogging all the doritos"... *click**

That was bad, but I think Scalebound's main character takes the cake this year. That is one of the most cringy characters I've seen in a long while. Completely turns me off that game.

Love the new direction SIE took God of War. Need to see more gameplay to be sure, but the short demo looked very impressive. I'm sure it will rub some of the old fans the wrong way, but I think it'll pay off in the big picture and rejuvenate that franchise.

Other stand outs for me: Resident Evil 7, Horizon: Zero Dawn, We Happy Few, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Prey, Detroit: Become Human, South Park: The Fractured but Whole and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Was hoping they'd show more of Mass Effect: Andromeda, but no such luck. I was really hyped for Dishonored 2 as well, but some of those new abilities look game-breaking. I guess we'll see how it works out. Loved the original.

Oh, and that orchestra at the Sony conference was amazing! They really put on a great show. :handclap:

Came away excited about Horizon (still), Nier: Automata (I keep telling people about it but no one believes me), Zelda (still), Persona 5 (still), King of Fighters XIV, and Tekken 7.

Only really disappointed with Days Gone; that demo seemed bad and was a weird choice to close a press conference. I feel like if I'm going to play a game about hordes of zombies, I would rather go with Dead Rising 4 (which, interestingly, is only a timed exclusive for Microsoft this time).

Also came away more skeptical about VR than ever.

Always be skeptical of new aspect like that. I was really skeptical of things like the motion controls in the wii remote and xbox Kinect. glad I didn't by into those gimmicks.

I feel like VR will be an expensive novelty that a lot of kids won't buy into (nor will their parents), it's more for the older crowd.

That being said I don't think the gimmick lasts for more than a generation. People just want to play games.

Played about 70 hours of Xenoblade Chronicles before it got boring. Probably even more hours in Hyrule Warriors. Wish it had more good games

Horizon, God of War, Zelda, Persona 5, the new South Park RPG, and Detroit: Become Human all have me super excited

I know I'm probably lttp, but Persona 5 will have no dual audio on release. Not really surprising considering Persona 4 had English VA only.

I thought Detroit: Become Human had a good showing.

It's a bit surprising given that every other Japanese developer/localization team has dual audio these days. Was less common on the PS2 during Persona 4.

Only time Persona has ever had dual audio was the first Arena game, and they only allowed that because it was region locked. Even the Persona 4 anime didn't have a Japanese track on the NA release.

It's a quizzical decision on the part of Atlus not to include dual audio. It's the simplest damn thing in the world and requires no additional localization work.

Skyward sword was literally the hardest Zelda since the NES.

The final dungeon in skyward sword was excellent. I found the rewards lacking though - seriously a bigger wallet when I don't need rupees is a big annoyance of mine.

I thought A link between worlds fixed this and I'm really stoked for Breath of the Wild.

Yeah i enjoyed Skyward Sword but it certainly wasn't my favourite in the series. I just thought the motion controls made it difficult compared to past games.

A Link Between Worlds was ridiculously awesome, maybe i'm biased because A Link to the Past is my favourite Zelda (at the time that and Super Metroid were just mind blowing), but it really had some cool mechanics. My biggest issue with that one was that the difficulty of the dungeons was too easy because of the open ended nature.

Breath of the Wild looks crazy awesome, i'm not sure if there's really anything i'd change based on what i've seen. I wouldn't mind a few Shadow of the Colossus type bosses in the overworld and i'm hopeful that the main items are good, and don't require constant replacement, i also want to see the dual hookshot return to make climbing faster. It's amazing how beautiful Nintendo can make their games despite "underpowered hardware".

South park

I just pre-ordered this in order to get Stick of Truth on the PS4, which I missed the first time around. Oh man, what a fun and clever game. Maybe hewed a bit too closely to some show plotlines (like, did we really need a video game version of the Lemmiwinks adventure?), but other than that it was a fantastic combination of a hilarious South Park episode and a solid (if fairly easy) video game in its own right.

I nearly wet myself with laughter at the Canada level.

I'm very excited for the "Fractured But Whole."

Does anyone play nhl 3on3 or nba jam on ps3? Nhl 3on3 is really fun and also super cheap. I'm tinfish09 if anyone is up for a game.

Good, now where's my Super NES? As classic as the NES is (and there are some damn good titles in that list), the SNES is one of if not the best console of all time.

They're actually probably probing the market with this. If it's a success I could see add-ons or an SNES version, which would sell easier than ice cream in Mexico.

This is was my guess, see how this one sells, maybe do additional game add-ons, and then into SNES, like you suggest.

I think it's excellent for Nintendo here, the price point is very good, so that if they do have an add-on, you don't worry that you spent too much on the original one.

Indeed, I have no doubt it'll sell well.

Plus Nintendo's latter year lineup is... ahhh... lacking, shall we say.
