I thought the Wild could have got more ...but guess not . Likely means diminished returns for our assets .

the TDL doesn't grow up hating me for being a deadbeat after his mom gained full custody
sharon pls return my calls
And opinions differ re: Donato.Coyle has had a pretty rough year.
This is a really interesting post and not the first one I have seen like this. There is a group that feels as if the Wild should have gotten more and are concerned about what our assets are worth. There is another group that was shocked that Coyle was able to fetch Donato and is excited about what it could mean for our assets.I thought the Wild could have got more ...but guess not . I feel like every year there's at least a couple deals where people respond, "Team X did horribly/great here, this really sets the markets for Teams A/B/C in moving players 1/2/3." And then it doesn't. I don't know that trades set the market the way UFA deals do during the summer. I think trades occur more in a vacuum. This is a really interesting post and not the first one I have seen like this. Some folks had him pegged as a Calder candidate coming into the year.
:-0I'll have her give you a ring when she finishes freshening up.
I think Boston takes Kreider 10 times out of 10 over Coyle, but the Rangers understandably are probably asking for a lot more than what Coyle brought back. Both from MA... but Kreider has evolved into a driver of play whereas Coyle is more of a secondary piece
I believe Brooks said that Kreider was available, but only if "there was an offer the Rangers could not refuse". So major overpayment, or Kreider stays where he is.I wouldn't be too upset if we moved Kreider, but the return would have to be really nice. Keep hearing his name in rumors here and there, highly doubt he goes anywhere but I wouldn't mind it if the return was good.
Going to be a crazy few days coming up.
Charlie Coyle not a huge point producer[Average 50?] or an overly aggressive guy going by his PM's . I don't watch much West hockey...but how does he compare to Kreider ? I thought the return on Coyle was a little lite ? People used to talk him up a lot one time. Can we discuss the deals in this thread ?
TDL's always feel eerily similar to having a baby.
There's a lot of waiting around with anticipation, but the biggest flurry of activity usually happens in the last little stretch.
Re: Puljujarvi:
In all honesty....I don't have the Bruins down as a contender even with a Coyle added . I think they are a bit slow and if Rask is not playing at 110%...they will go nowhere. They seem to have the TML's #...and I think they can beat TML with the Leafs being one of the softer teams in the mix ....but I honestly can't see them going much further especially after watching us beat them twice . So...watching them make this deal kind of surprises me . I thought they were just posturing for their fan base on the trade talks . Do they make more deals ? Maybe they add McQuaid ? I say Bruins are his probable destination in all likelihood .
Wow that whole organization is just lost. They don’t even know how to handle players Anymore
Yeah, or like when you crap in your pants. It gets warm first, but then it just gets more and more annoying as the days pass by.
I said it the other day when someone proposed an Andersson-Poolparty swap--Puljujarvi just has that Edmonton stench on him. I understand how young he is. But that organization just seems to have a way of ruining guys, to a point that some of them can't recover. Unless they want to basically give him away I'd have to pass.To be honest I'd be kind of wary of giving up assets for poolparty just because I'm unsure of where his development will go after the Oilers have ****ed with it

Yeah absolutely. If we could acquire him for relatively cheap, I'd be in favor of it, because there's tremendous skill there. With Chia gone, they probably won't give him to us for a fifth though, so... LOL.Yeah for sure, EDM has done a lot of damage to him.
How many puck touches longer than like 1-2 sec has Pulju had the last three years? A kid that is 18 is young, to play the following three years after your 18th birth day in a very minor role at a level were the game is too fast for you is just a horrible way to develop a kid.
Its so rarely a good idea to rush a kid. Its probably hard for him to recover at this point. But I wouldn't rule it out and he does have a lot of potential.
