Gotta try to stay positive my man.
For sure. It is what it is. But I think neither condition gets met. Who knows. Maybe Zucc re-signs. But if I’m Dallas and I know re-signing a guy means I lose my first as well, it probably becomes prohibitive. But it’s still good to stockpile picks. And Zucc in the end was probably not a guy long for a rebuild.
Hayes, on the other hand is young enough to theoretically be useful as the team rebuilds. They need to get much more for him.

Not to be a Debbie downer and obviously things can change but I’d wager that Dallas isn’t too keen on re-signing Zucc if they’re comfortable swapping a 3rd to a potential 1st

If the 3rd was going to turn into a 2nd rounder I would say they’re more confident in wanting to keep him long term

This guy out here trying to make sure they have cap to try and beef up for these two playoff rounds they’re gunna win LOL :help:

Their owner wants to win. Zucc could very well resign in Dallas. Step away from the ledge people. I’m not surprised considering probably the same group expected Sergachev+++ last year.

This board lately: Gurianov, Robertson, Hanzal, a 100-pack of freezer pops, a 1st in 2021, and a Cheryl Tiegs poster

Dallas is a team who’s publicly facing a lot of pressure to contend from their ownership, do you think Nill would care about a first round pick when he’s trying to get to the playoffs to keep his job?
