I still think they'll make the rational decision to not resign but I could be wrong. If he was 2-3 years younger maybe

I thought they handled themselves adequately today and I like the idea of team-wide responses to things. In saying that, Ovechkin ran Skjei not once, but twice on the same shift. I see very little overall direct aggression towards other teams on a regular basis. It would be a nice change for the team as a whole to begin playing a style where they were consistently the team doling out the punishment. That's something that can be created as a culture but they need to find a couple of guys who do it consistently.

They did a great job pushing back but I think as an org, they’d like a Kassian type answer for Wilson, and the like, with McQuaid in his way out.

Probably nothing until tonight. Flames/Jets both have games tonight, and I'm sure Friedman/Bobfather/etc. will have updates during their intermission reports.

Might even see some action/news after their games.
