I must say, this deadline has been 100000000x better than last years

Awesome! I love the way Sather and Gorton and Clark just transformed this team from a soft, perimeter team to a much deeper, in your face version of last years team

When you add up goals from Nash, Stepan, Hagelin, Richards and Callahan so far you don't get 40 goals. 82 games, you still need ~0,5 goals per game. From 3rd liners, even if divided with 3 players? Not going to happen.

Brassard: Good for 15 goals.
Dorsett: Good for ~10 goals.
Clowe: Good for 10-15 goals MINIMUM.

That is Gabby's production right there. And none of them disappear when they aren't scoring, or rely on other players to create the offense for them. AND they got a VERY young defensemen with pretty damn good upside. Yea, we got fleeced....

i honestly think this is a good hockey deal. we all knew with nash here gabby was leaving soon. the rangers added depth at center.

john moore looks alot like the mcbain type of player alot of us was asking for.

and everyone i mean everyone has called this team a bunch of panzies well we now have dorsett.

We have filled 3 positions alot of people wanted for gabby a player we were trading for a 1st and a prospect.

a prospect who would prob end up being the water boy and a 1st that would have prob ended up being brassard

I think its also important to point out that Moore is a smooth skating Dman that is young AND he is 6'2 205 lbs!!!

vstk is right, gotta dial back the enthusiasm here, so many questions still unanswered.

Dorsett won't even be here for the reg season. Brassard is a center. Is he a 3rd line Center that wins most of his faceoffs and plays a hard game? Is Moore a Mcbain even though he's a lefty !?
