I honestly think that keeping Boyle is in the best interest of the club moving forward. He's our only forechecker right now. You add in another good gritty forward and you've got yourselves 2/3 of a good forechecking line. With Hagelin on the 3rd line now too its a really solid forechecking line if we can add in another consistent forechecker there. We need a glue guy and forechecker on that line, we can't lose Boyle.

He's probably suffering from Brad Richards/Marian Gaborik syndrome - Not playing anywhere during the lockout so therefore not playing in any competitive games for 8 months. I think he's a great change of scenery candidate and would have no problem with the Rangers picking him up for a reasonable price. Boyle/Pyatt and a 3rd/4th. People who are pointing out ZERO goals are completely missing the point on Clowe. Great locker room guy, tons of grit, big time battle level, and has scored plenty in the past. He might just need a change of scenery and if it's something like Boyle and a 2nd + a middling prospect you do that deal every time. The guy is just 30.

I think Miller needs to be sent down. I wish Kreider was a center. I think Boyle should be the 3rd line center. I think his game has been improving.

Might want to have Powe in there instead of Asham. You look at the success of last night and a big part of it was the PK.
