McKenna is in that tier but he’s only eligible next year so we’ve mistimed it once again.

Thanks man. I’m so sad about the year. I thought we’d improve but it’s so brutal.
I hope we turn it around. I’d rather we progress than tank. But if we’re going to be awful, a high pick is a nice consolation prize.

We saw what happened to the Oilers last year. It got the coach fired. They went on to have a crazy win record and almost won the cup.
I don’t think we need to fire MSL but we need to change something. If he changes the system… great. If not, I think he’ll wind up getting sacked.

Some think it is par for the course of a rebuild. But that’s just a lazy assumption.
The mass regression is a coaching/tactics thing. It could be the case they roar awake and start soaring again with a shakeup. They’re not this bad, we all know it.

We are this bad. Rebuilds take 5-8 years. As happens to most coaches, MSL's messaging may have grown old in year 3 although it's still too early to tell.
