Says the guy who loves Kirk. A guy doing an even more obvious and grating version of Felger's act. lol
Check my recent posts of late. I have grown accustomed to not listening to Kirk and think this whole thing is blowing up in his face. He lost me when he took his leave of absence and still complains about management on Twitter.

Back when I was working later I listened to him on my way home (I believe he came on at 6 back then?) and you guys are right, he was very good and fun to listen to. I thought he was creative, kept the content fresh and didn't seem to have the usual sports radio host attitude and agenda
The original 98.5 lineup was something special. Only weak spot was Gresh and Zo outside of football season. Everyone else was at their peak and not a caricature of themselves yet.

Back in those days I'd usually be working late and drive home listening to DA. Good times.

Fair enough. I get what you mean by saying you reached a point with it. While I still enjoy Felger's act on certain subjects (and really, it not even his act, it's the people who still fall for it more so), I can't take it on other things. Prime example is Rask. I can't listen to him talk about it at all any more, because it's so one note and flimsy. On those days, I find myself flipping to music.

I caved and got a year long subscription to The Athletic. Was 50% off so only 30 bucks total. Too many times in the last month I clicked an article on Twitter only to be disappointed it was an Athletic column I couldn't read.

And was it worth it?

4 hours of f***ing Aaron Rodgers talk and 30 seconds on the Bruins.

Ok, I hate Felger too now.

When Jaffe is trying to get a word in edgewise, but Haggs just won’t shut up...
Jaffe was on Zolak and Bertrand the other day and seemed more interested in letting all the listeners know that he was going to be on NHL Network than anything else.

Bobby Orr was on with T&R this morning and it was great. He was pitching his new picture book, so he was in there for that, but they did a good job.

Minehane appears out

Shocking a guy who regularly craps on his bosses has no regard for his coworkers, makes the Brady interview about trying to get a sound bite to go national, and shits all over the Red Sox and Sam Kennedy.

Did you know Olberman when he was here ? I’ve heard he’s a real weirdo and pompous

@DKH
Casually - He was weird as he took the subway to Newton Highlands and then a cab to Needham ( he has never driven a car ) He quit when Channel 5 gave the main sports job to Mike Lynch and he would be a reporter and fill-in anchor.

I do give him points for this.

and this was a classic
