So if Brady just sat silently on the line, we wouldn't have all this nonsense? Maybe he should just start snorting and saying it is what it is...

"I can only come up with totally extreme possibilities for Brady, either throw a guy under the bus, stay totally silent, or hang up. NO OTHER OPTIONS."

Yawn.

Guy just can't win. That's why he should bail on these trolling attempts by WEEI who live in their own world. They've stopped caring about the team and only care about their agendas now.

Living in Montreal they show so much respect to the stars like Richard and Beliveau. Wish Brady got that treatment for what he's done

I've obviously reached my limit with this. You don't think Brady should be asked any questions about an obvious story (he is mostly responsible for creating), and I think they are totally fair.

Asking the question without an ulterior motive is completely fair. In this case, I don't believe this was what happened. But since you avoided the question earlier (ironic enough given that was what Brady did to get you so fired up), I'll ask it again: Do you think Kirk asked that question honestly and without the intention of garnering the response he got?

I really hate having to defend a ******* like Minihane, but there was nothing wrong with those questions. (If you want to say pissing off your weekly big name interview is dumb that's fair and probably right, I am just speaking in terms of asking them in a vacuum outside of business considerations.)

Brady made Guerrero a major focus of his own TV show, his book, and his entire business. And any time someone asks him about it he acts like a ****ing baby. If he doesn't want to be asked about Alex Guerrero stop telling us how important he is.

All Brady had to do was what Bill did with OMF yesterday. Answer with a nothing answer and state that is all he is going to say. Gives them no where to go and they move on which Kirk was trying to do, Brady started talking about it again.

Bill poured kitty litter on the gas puddle, Brady dropped a lit match on it.

Hopefully that will be the last Brady interview that hack Minihane will get the privilage to do with the GOAT.

That's so disingenuous from Chatham. You have to be willfully ignorant or intentionally obtuse to think there's absolutely nothing there worth asking about. Almost two decades of mostly controversy-free football from Tom Brady, and now he's skipping OTAs after his bestie is barred from the lockerroom and it's nothing?

Maybe it isn't a big deal. Maybe the story is blown out proportion. Know what would help clear that up? Brady acting like an adult when the issue is raised. If he said, "Alex was on the plane, I was glad to have him, but there was never an issue before. It was media created, me and coach are fine and always have been. But you know I won't get into specifics, that's stuff we deal with in the lockerroom as a team."

Funny, All the ballwashing the Boston media has done over the years its enjoyable to see some push back finally. The GOAT will fall like a lead ballon at some point it happens to them all. THEN it will get ugly.

One has to look back at the SB game threads including ones the Pats came back to win to see "fans" turning on Brady.

Tom Brady is great player but that doesn't exclude him from criticism for acting like a baby when the questions get tough. Hopefully someone in the media will find their balls this season and fire a few back at the immortal BB for some of the most egregious coaching errors in sports.

That's a great repost of what you said earlier Mike, but that's not what the question was. I also already said it was a fair line of questioning, if the intent was to get an honest answer to those questions. In this case, I think Kirk's motivation was the reaction and not an honest answer...

Wow Tom Brady will decline someday. Hot take of the century. Do you watch Max Kellerman?

I think the media will run him out if town way before he declines anyway. Who needs to deal with that crap at 41 and 5 Superbowls.

Last time I remember Minihane being asked a tough question he threw a temper tantrum, threatened to quit and left the studio. Wait doesn't that happen monthly ?

Shaughnessy did exactly that first day of camp

These legacy Boston media hacks like Shaughnessy are more comfortable destroying people than embracing winners. 86 years of being perennial losers will do that to you. Imagine being in the Boston media and losing to the habs and Yankees your whole life? Being a loser is just more comfortable and normal for him. Brady gets lots of respect in Montreal as he should

How where YOU acting during those SB threads fan boy? The NFL is a bad league but not that bad that Brady will be run out of town before he declines.

He's a GREAT player but BB's ego is greater so the next few years will be fun to watch.

I am Montreals biggest Pats fan (maybe) I lost a few years off my life in all the superbowls and SB losses.

as far as the threads go, I was never worried and have full confidence in the Pats winning titles bc they are a dynasty that you dont often see now like the habs yankees and celtics of old.

Montreal has been a Patriots hotbed for decades simply because they get all the games from stations in Vermont and for several years the games were on French radio.

I don't think most fans care about the trainer but they DO want an answer about Malcolm Butler.
Exactly

I could care less about Guerrero - I’m 100 % more concerned do they get my coffee right at the drive thru today whether he’s on the staff on the plane on the sidelines

As for Butler I don’t think we as fans could handle the truth and B.B. if it’s what I think it is would not be that dumb

He needs to stop using ‘we do the best for the football team’ crap after the Butler in this SB and not letting Goskowski kick at 48 yard FG in doors before the half on 3rd and 13? 17? Yards because he was mad earlier he kicked the ball out of bounds on a kickoff giving the Giants field position to start st the 40
