Hallelujah.....

WBTS may get to launch after all, the retansmission agreement talks between NBC Universal and Charter Spectrum (through Bright House and Time Warner Cable) will continue to be discussed even through 12:01 New Year's Day.....

according to Delivermyshows.com, a website covering the impasse between CS and NBC Universal and its affiliated network properties outside of NECN/WBTS/CSNNE, even NBC U Properties likely will be blacked out, (USA/E!/Bravo/Oxygen, etc)....

Question:

I'm a Comcast customer. I'm going on a trip to Florida in March. What's my best bet for watching the Bruins? Does anyone know if there's a way to watch online via Comcast? NESN app? Can I order gamecenter for a week? Worst case scenario, I can always just watch on DVR upon my return.

Dude, just ignore them and enjoy it down there. I doubt I watch any Bruin game while vacationing.

Media too easy on bruins.

I'd say the Boston media has been too easy on all the local teams for about the last 10 years. It's what happens when every professional team reaches the pinnacle of their sport. The fans get soft, the coverage gets soft, the teams themselves get soft.

This Is the opposite of the Patriots.

Hugely successful, overwhelmingly negative media. Totally disproportionate.

Nationally or locally?? I get the national guys being like that especially with the deflate gate garbage, but aside from the handful of dbags (CHB and Borges) in the local media, I think they're generally pretty easy going on the Pats.

The Bruins media is soft partly because of the way the team pampers the media.

No team in the NHL feeds them better.

No wonder Haggs never leaves Boston. Sits back snd goes on tv after the game. When was the last time he left the studio? Chocolates suit his figure well.

Take away Borges, DS and F&M and everyone is pretty fair to the Patriots.

Bob Ryan, Gammons, Macmullen, Volin, DuPont, Callahan(Parcells toadie), Minihan, Merloni, Bertrand, Breer, Bedard, Jones(negative towards every team).
Many dismissive towards fans also.

Anyone else find Brian Lawton to be almost as creepy as Larry Murphy used to be on NHL Tonight?

Totally agree. Don't know what it is but there's just something weird about him. Kinda reminds me of the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Murphy was suuuuper creepy. Ahh, the good ole' High School quality broadcasts of "On the Fly". Back when it was awesome and played a ton of highlights per game with no talking and then analyzed.

Locally!?!?! I have never in my life seen such rump kissing by American media to a local team or individual athletes. I can't even watch local news given how much time they dedicate to how Tom tweeted a picture of his horse faced wife that day.

Plus they win a lot, so that helps.

The Bruins should be getting killed, but they aren't. Not sure what the Bruins have done to escape the wrath of the media.

I think it is because the group of media covering the Bruins is much smaller so they have a closer relationship with the team that makes them less objective.
