Rangers/Flyers will be the last NBC game on Channel 7. Come January NBC will move to the phantom Channel 8 which if you don't have cable you will have a problem getting it.

NECN has been hyping the new NBC Boston WBTS on its network just recently.

The newscast NECN Tonight is right now just a dress rehearsal for NBC Boston. The new news set is supposed to be ready next week and on December 1st NBC Boston moves to NESN's channel number on Comcast systems.

Felger will be on the new NBC station often as well.

Did anyone notice that 'EEI has a 'Saturday Skate' show? It was on from 3 to 5 on Saturday. The two that I have listened two have listed Ryan Whitney as the star attraction. Problem is that he hasn't been on either show. Typical 'EEI.

Finn says Keefe to Dale and Holley

Wow, I like that addition. Hated Thornton on it because of his voice and how bad a homer he is. Keefe really grew on me over the years to the point now where he was carrying Adam Jones' show most nights.

Heads up - If you have Comcast in Mass or NH - WBTS-LD is now on 810 and NECN has been dropped to 840.

One month from today WBTS becomes NBC Boston.

Great move by WEEI. Don't know how 98.5 could let him go, IMO he's one of the 2-3 most talented people 98.5 had. He would've been perfect on T&R, but as Donnie mentioned, they seem content with having the laugh box be the 3rd man in the studio. The night show should've been his instead of Jones' too.

It's interesting how different people want different things from talk show hosts.

Despite his voice, I think Thornton was one of the best in the market, partially because he's one of few who can convey a thought cogently and in complete sentences, while I think Keefe is one of the worst, due to his speech impediment, and lack of ability to use the English language.

Thornton has an awkward voice, which I think turns a lot of people off, but I agree with you that he's an excellent communicator.

Whoa, hey there, slow down. You're throwing too many big words at me that I don't understand, so I'm going to take them as a sign of disrespect...

I just didn't like Thornton's voice. It was nails on a chalkboard bad for me, and I say that as a big fan of his previous work at Barstool. Through the sad homerism on top and it wasn't for me. But Keefe I find to be really amusing. His bit when they imitated the Yankee announcers was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time. His Suzyn Waldman was spot on.

I hope he takes that with him. Come to think of it, if he can do Suzyn Waldman, he can probably do a Dale Arnold. They are on the same octave. This could get interesting:naughty:

Kirk and Callahan chiming in with their own questions over the live Belichick press conference has me spitting up my coffee.

"Bill, Livin' on a prayer or Bad Medicine?"

"Bill, Do you pee in the shower?"

"Bill, favorite nude scene from the 80's? Is it Beverley D'Angelo like me?"

Rumors are flying that in 2017 NESN will move 30 Red Sox games and 15 Bruins games to WHDH-TV Channel 7 which becomes an independent station on January 1.

Games would continue to be seen on NESN outside of the Boston DMA. Fenway Sports Group in return would acquire a partial ownership stake of Channel 7.
