Nice to see old friend Jamie Erdahl doing the sideline reporting during the Pats broadcast today.

I enjoyed seeing her there as well. Thought she did a decent job, for what the job is. Always liked her and thought she was one of the better ones.

If anyone wants to talk there thoughts on political or racial stuff , real or imagined, then go to the Political Board.

We arent doing that here.

Further more if those using this thread cant keep from making your posts personal you will be thread banned.

This isnt open to debate. Clearly stated in post # 1.

If you choose to continue , go ahead and make my ****ing day.

Who said that? All I said was to each their own. As in if you like T&R, good for you. If you dislike T&R, good for you. If you like WEEI's morning show (not sure what they call it now), good for you. If you don't like it, good for you. There's no arguing against personal taste.

Glad you finally came around. We agree. The end of an interesting Lonnie and Donnie show.

Minihane in control is spectacular. Before John Dennis left I couldn't listen but with him gone Kirk isn't melting down as much or miserable but more importantly he's not going to allow himself to fail because of Gerry's infatuation with politics and HC specifically.

I hope he keeps his promise made yesterday that Gary Tanguay is NOT getting the job.

Smartest move they can make is keep it fresh with rotating guests.

1. Minimize political talk
2. No Tanguay as third full time host

Thornton dumping on 2011 Bruins as not a special team. Holley disagreed.

That's weird. I don't think I've ever heard Thornton say a negative thing about any of the teams here because he's such an obvious homer. Must not be a hockey fan. Although in the spirit of full disclosure, I hate the sound of his voice, so I rarely listen to what he has to say...

He was stumbling as he was saying it and Dale just shut up. Holley though disagreed pretty good. Dale was probably thinking like me 'you don't know what your talking about shut the **** up.' Kudos for Holley though he was pretty adamant.

That run was 2 freaking months with 4 series all with their own story lines like Harry Potter books. It was as good as it gets beating a hole teams a long the way.

Thornton jumped the shark with me on those comments

I've never been a fan of his, TBH. His voice just grates on my last nerve. Throw the unabashed homerism on top and I can't stomach him at all. It's why I tend to listen to F&M or music. Every couple of weeks I try to put it on and once he starts talking, I have to flip the station.

I'm not a huge Thornton fan....can take him or leave him, but Massaroti, to me is what Thornton is to you.

Can't stand the sound of his voice, plus he's not very interesting or entertaining, IMO.

Strangely enough, I'm with you on Mazz. Even after all these years, he still yells into the mic like he doesn't get that it picks up every little sound.

Was told tonight that NESN and Leah Hextall are in serious negotiations.

Money is not the issue but she wants to be 'Inside the Glass' and do the post-game with Claude. Based on her work for ESPN during the World Cup I hope that happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember reading on Boston.com during the lockout that they hired her to be the pre/postgame and intermission person instead of Dale...lockout was over, she was resorted to NESN Daily and Dale was still doing intermission and pre and post and cracking his corny jabs at Jaffe, Pederson and Kluzak. They underutilized her big time. The only time she was doing in arena hockey stuff was the Beanpot and Hockey East. Hope she comes back..way more knowledgeable then Sarah Davis

She would definitely have an immediate impact on the quality of the Bruins broadcasts.

She is older than people think as she was a news anchor in Winnipeg in 2005.

Very interesting podcast from Minihane with Chad Finn.

I want to like Minihane, but he constantly does things like harp on the Globe guy who didn't attribute the show in some article that no one remembers. Brought it up like 7 times. It's a good point, but tiresome when constantly brought up.

No idea why Kirk thinks guests have no value on sports radio when the show he's on was literally MADE by the guests they would have in their heyday. Boomer, Brady, Schilling, Schefter, etc. It just strikes me as Kirk doesn't want to do the work to have an good interview and would rather just spend time talking about inside baseball media stuff. I don't want to listen to celebrity callers and have no idea why anyone would. (Remember Felger had his "no celebrity callers" thing, which lasted about 5 minutes)

He supports Gary Tanguay, which to me is like putting a David Duke sticker on your car. But at least he has the sense the dislike Mazz

On the K&C podcasts today they refer to "Sean" and I was like "who?" and its Sean Salisbury. I wonder if they made fun of Anthony Weiner during Headlines since that would be quite ironic.
