Two new forwards added to Moncton's training camp roster.

Greenberg, Richard C * 1996-08-11 5'11" 160 Boston, MA, USA

Tsekos, Zachary C * 1996-11-15 5'09" 155 Montréal, QC

Anyone have any info. Neither seem to be on Eliteprospects.
Not sure if it's the same Tsekos, but I remember a player playing for LSL espoir last winter, as in 2011-2012 with that name. If it's the same kid, he must've grown a bit, because he looked 5'4"-5'6"ish.

He seemed to have played for the LSL royals but he's not on the elite prospects page. Did he look any good?

I haven't seen either play live but they both played on the same team in the 2013 Chowder Cup...

http://www.proamhockey.com/stats/roster.php?step=&sub=&season_id=58&team_id=1408&sort=

Wildcats prospects who really lit it up at Chowder were Zerter (drafted 2012), and Seeger who were on the same line (both with 7 points--Zerter MVP); they played for Messier's team and won it all. Fun to watch these two, Seeger dangerous playmaker with somebody to pass to who can bury, and Zerter strong on the puck, no trouble potting-tap ins to tic tac toe stuff. Small kid Jermaine on line with them from Brunswick where Seeger plays fit right in with them, too bad he wasn't invited to camp ! Anyway great combo, together physical force, hard to play against and contain. They would do well together at camp IMO. So Seeger probably stays according to newspaper article beyond 48, but Zerter not sure if he will even appear, too bad. I saw Greenberg I believe at the friendship tourney, I think his father one of the coaches for US team, if its the same kid (middlesex Islanders U-18). Whoever scouting maybe seen him there. IMO gotta pass more, put away the dangle that wasn't working, if he has any chance to impress. Decent skater, but lacks the vision/smarts of a Smith or Seeger. Can't find him on the stat leaders in Chowder 2013. Anyone know if either of the new additions are even interested in the Q and would stay past 48 ?

7 out of 8 have committed to camp. The exception being McLeod. Smith has signed with the team and will stay for year.

so, it turns out now they say only 4 are going to camp?

the day of the draft this was Flynn's quote We took six Americans who are committed to coming to camp and we have to work on the others

Borges is hurt but he was committed to come to camp so it's just Gendron who decided to change his mind from when Flynn made the statement although he's come to Moncton to see wht the team had to offer. I think you can only use the 48 hours once so maybe Malatesta/Gendron are waiting a year to use it to see what offers they get.

So Yarwood and Johnston should bith make the team?

Any idea which one will be the best? I'm thinking Yarwood, but never saw them play!

I think both will make the team. It's hard to say which is better, Yarwood is 19 and played CCHL last year but Johnston was rookie of the month his Manitoba Jr.A. Another player you can count on making the team is Tanner MaCabe.

Emond - Sweeney
Wood - Yarwood
Johnston - McCabe
Holwell - White/ Colatarci

That's a pretty old top 4 in a rebuild but I guess we'll see. I bet Flynn keeps 8 defenseman around , since it's likely someone will be traded.
