best wishes with her, she looks like she has lots of love to give. Enjoy her.
Thank you! She's had a rough go of it in her life as a stray in Mississippi up until a month ago, but she's going to be well taken care of going forward. My kids were in love with her from the moment they met her. We just need her to relax around our other dog, Banjo, who is a giant golden doodle. I think him being so big and her probably having to fight other dogs on the street to survive has her feeling a little uneasy. He's a gentle giant though and is like why is she always barking at me?

Thank you for sharing your excitement and new love with us. My past experience with dogs says it takes time for strange dogs and families to adjust, Give it time. I am sure when everyone settles in, things will be fine and she will love her new family and they her. Best Wishes

This is the look of a dog who ate a 10 day supply of antibiotics for his brother - a dog 1/4 of his size - and the foil packets the pills were in. Little man got attacked by a Fisher earlier this week and big boy chased him off.

I hope both will be okay. He looks very sad and sheepish at the same time. I have never seen a Fisher but know they are vicious, I hope the little pup didn't get injured badly.

Oooff, that's a lot of meds. Hope he's ok! Our labrador once got a hold of my wife's ventolin asthma inhaler and gave herself a heavy dose of the stuff through chewing it. Poor girl was woozy and had an elevated heart rate, but she got through it and slept it off ok. They have a way of finding things they shouldn't.

My "GF's dog" (I claim him now :sarcasm: ) Sparky...we never got to name him sinxe he was given to us by a family member. 99% of my photos are of him sleeping and sunbathing in various positions since he rarely sits still otherwise. He's 8-10 years old, but has that puppy energy still:

Everyone has such beautiful dogs! I'm curious how many of you have had dogs since you were children/most of your life?

This is my first time ever having one so most of the time I'm just winging it out here.

I grew up with dogs as a child through a young adult. I’ve had every kind of dog from a Great Dane to a Lhasa Apso. But I hadn’t had a dog in a long time until a few years ago when we got my daughter’s seizure alert/service dog, Banjo. My wife had never had a dog so it was a big adjustment for her, but it clearly it went well since we just added another one to our pack.

Beautiful dog. So pretty, shed so much.

She looks very similar to our Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier. She was a great pup.
That’s one of the possible mixes I fixated on as well. The others are a labradoodle or a white bernadoodle. Her coat is so silky and soft. Our other dog is a golden doodle and is soft but different. More like fleece, if that makes sense. But her coat is so sleek.its just different. She’s got her first vet appointment today so I’m going to ask our vet what he thinks and if I have to I’ll just do the dna test for her to see.

Quick update for those that care, the integration has happened. We had been keeping them separate with gates until Clover stopped being aggressive and scared of Banjo. They've been playing all day long today, running around in the backyard like idiots. I'm sure they're going to sleep very well tonight. They've been running around as thick as thieves following each other everywhere. All it took was a come to Jesus moment for them both when I let them know who was actually in charge. After that, it's been great.

We had a collie named Lucky when I was a kid. He was actually from the TV Lassie bloodline. I don't have a picture of him on my phone and I'm too lazy to go dig out my boxes of photos to find one lol. But he was beautiful and a good dog.

We had to put him down when I was in college. Then I didn't have a dog of my own until I got Daisy from a friend in 2014. She was 7 at the time, and I had to have her put down last April. Still not over it.

Here's another pic of her, just because.

Aw. She was a cutie. I hope you get another soon. When you do it will be a lucky dog.

I went to Pet Smart yesterday to get cat food and a guy was there with an 8-week-old Golden Retriever...He was sitting on his owner's foot. OMG so cute. It brightened my day.
