Good pick going with F.Johansson at this point. Not a fan of the output this year, but still played in a men's league and there's definitely potential there.

I'm picking at 82 and I shouldn't be far. I have a few short meetings scattered here and there during the day, but there shouldn't be more than 45 minutes between my turn and my pick ;)

I have Johansson at 66, so I think it's a good pick as well.

Production isn't there but his defense is good. I think he could play as a 2nd pairing guy, good first pass, strong defensively, can make plays in transition. Not a lot of pure offense there but enough to be an effective modern NHL defenseman. Has the physical traits you want.

With the 82nd overall pick, the LA Kings are proud to select, from the Madison Capitols in the USHL, right winger, Ryan O'Reilly.

We feel like there is much to like about O'Reilly's game. He is developping as a large bodied goal scorer with very good hands around the net and we like his potential to become a middle six winger who could score 20 goals a year while playing a strong possession game. Our third NCAA bound pick in as many selections, he is committed to a strong program in Denver.
20-Bode Wilde
51-Jake Wise
82-Ryan O'Reilly

Toronto uses the 83rd overall pick to select from the J20 SuperElit league... Axel Andersson

1200.jpg

Date of Birth: Feb 10th 2000 (18)
Place of Birth: Järna, Sweden
Ht: 6'0" Wt: 183lbs
Shoots: Right
Position: D

You might consider Andersson as a modern day D-man. Mobile with the puck and isn't afraid to carry the play. Almost always makes the smart decision on the ice and is rarely caught by surprise. We hope that he continues to develop his defensive game and becomes a reliable player that can be used in any situation.

Draft so far.
25th: Jared McIsaac (LD)
52nd: Jakub Lauko (LW)
83rd: Axel Andersson (RD)

With the 84th pick Detroit selects from Owen Sound Defenceman Sean Durzi

Overager with serious injury history... Id maybe take a chance in the later rounds but now is too early imo. Good player tho, I was really interested.

Risky and ballsy pick, hope it works out for him.
