Ideal matchups for the Final:
Chicago vs. Pittsburgh - Offensive showdown. I know the Hawks haven't shown much offense lately (especially from some of their star players), but I figure if they make it past LA, it'll be because one of their stars finds his game again.
LA vs. Boston - And on the opposite end of the spectrum, defensive showdown. Not really super excited about the concept of this series, especially considering it seems A LOT of the playoff games this year are just one time playing stifling defense for half the game. Sound strategy, but not terribly exciting to watch. However, I can appreciate the mechanics of it.
Chicago vs. Boston - Honestly expect this to be similar to the recently completed Detroit/Chicago one. The top line players are going to nullify each other, and almost all the scoring will be done by the depth players. Decent matchup, but a rerun is still a rerun.
LA vs. Pittsburgh - I rank this one last simply because I can see it ending in 4 or 5, one way or the other. And it all depends on how quickly the Chicago/LA series ends. If LA handles Chicago easily, they'll handle Pittsburgh easily. If LA struggles against Chicago, they'll struggle against Pittsburgh.
