Yay. Third-line center upside. Brilliantly done, guys. So much for all the phone calls.

Yeah right. You trolling? He is the real deal, first center star potential. But if "bust", could end up carrying a third line. Pretty nice potential even if a "bust" wouldnt you say?

Anyone who actually thought we were gonna get help this year from an 18 year old was dreaming. It's perfect that he can't come for a year, now we can't rush him. If he was Canadian we would've forced him in.

Ignore totalkev. He has an agenda every year to trash JR. We could have taken Jones at #5 and he'd *****.

They took a defensive center, in a DEEP draft. JR made a big deal out of taking an NHL ready player, and takes the ONLY guy so far that can't play in the NHL next year!

Wow, what a disappointment.

Exactly. I mean our team needed help NOW. and we didn't even take a high ceiling player to make it worth the delay. Got, why couldn't we have sucked just a little more last year and got Jones.

People complaining about this have no clue who Lindholm is. Third line center upside? This guy is compared favorably to Nicklas Backstrom.

The team right before us got SETH JONES. We got a smallish Swedish center who is two years away from making the team. How can you guys not be disappointed? What will it take? Stunning that you still trust this group to do what's best for the Hurricanes.

It's just no longer surprising. Your schtick is that you hate every move the Hurricanes make because you have an axe to grind with the organization or perhaps just JR in general. I have no idea. But whatever it is, it has become so predictable that it's white noise.

His stats must be extremely misleading then. I bet in 3-4 years, we'll be looking back at this draft, and *****ing about what a terrible job JR did, again.

Misleading? Please...

His stats are better than Nicklas Bäckströms, of Washington. He turned out pretty nice...

You haters so realize Lindholm's drawing comparisons to Bergeron, Giroux and Forsberg, right?

bleedgreen is here. Let the rationalizations begin! Five of the six picks so far in this draft will play in the NHL next year. Guess which one won't.

30 points in 48 games as an 18 year old against professionals? What's wrong with that?

Oh that's right, JR made the pick so it sucks.

C'mon guys, what is this play right now ****?? Do you really think an 18 year old kid was going to make the difference in us winning it all??

This is a good pick. People just *****ing because we all got excited about a trade that didn't happen. Ridiculous.
