I so hope for Hagens, but at the same time, I'm f***ing frightened that this team will completely neuter him.

So the US team will just be the USNTDP U18 team? Seems a bit lopsided doesn't it? I guess the US will have an advantage since they've played together all year.

The CHL team is all draft eligibles so not that lopsided. Although they do have a handful of ‘06s I believe (US could probably do the same if they choose ala JOB in his draft year). Basically a juiced Hlinka team for Canada and US’ u18 WJC team that never play against each other.So the US team will just be the USNTDP U18 team? Seems a bit lopsided doesn't it? Can't tell yet. I feel like there's a drop off after Hagens, Misa and Martone though. If we end up finishing really low I'm hoping for one of the 3.

Anywhere in the top 7 in a draft that has 5 Centers is exactly the draft where our lack of scoring and questionable goaltending combined lands us one of those studs is exactly what a rebounding team needs. Then we have 5 more picks in the top 40. 2025 is the Flyers Christmas
Joke will be on you when it turns out the Flyers don't celebrate Christmas by trading four of those picks.
I also like Misa, but will he be a center in the NHL? Seems like he's playing a lot of wing.
