I have no idea, Cap. How he went from historic production to whatever is going on right now is beyond me. He was supposed to go to the USHL but now they moved him to the VHL? Idk bruh.

So Luchanko is a 2nd line C, 60-70 pts max.
Let’s do bad enough to get a 1C with 100 pt ceiling. This draft has several fast Centers that would help our rebuild more than another 2C with 60-70 pt upside. Let’s get a pick in the top 6.

It is really too early to say. Frondell has been injured and Ryabkin has seemingly had issues with his coach which tbh has impacted both.

They have the skill-sets to be top 10 picks... and the games so far are a super small sample considering their body of work, but have to back it up.

Oilers is top 12 protected. Avs pick is top 10 protected.

Doubtful either will fall that far, Colorado has goaltender problems and Edmonton is off to a slow start.
More likely would be late teens to 25, neither team looks like a good bet to go deep into the playoffs right now.

Maybe the hockey gods will bless us and in an Avs-Oilers game there is a collision and a tangle of legs with Mac, Makar, McDavid, and Drai injured, and the Flyers ending up with picks 11, and 13 from them…after the Flyers win the draft lottery themselves, of course

I like him, but he's off to an incredibly slow start which is wild because he's very skilled and talented, but he's not producing at all

A nice caveat though with the Oilers pick is that if the Oilers trade their 2026 1st the pick we have loses its protection (as initially if it is a top 12 pick then Flyers get 2026 pick).

So if somehow the Oilers are on the cusp and want to add some bigger name rentals to ensure get in? Then Flyers get this years whatever.

youtuber graviteh did mock draft 2025 with standings right now. flyers did win lottery to second place. sj drafted hagens and philly misa. i was like yeah!..sounds good.pick 12(colorado) flyers picked Kashawn Aitcheson. never heard about that guy but...could be fine but ryabkin was still there too.
