I been trying to trade Crouse for two years. Was hopeful that the move would create emotion in him again.

We currently have an empty slot for a 12th forward. I count that spot as Doan's.
Next year But and Iginla replace Bjugstad and Kerfoot. Crouse, Maccelli and Schmaltz will stick around next year for continuity.

We need to upgrade Valamaki with someone like Provorov. Having him would complete the three lokos of Yaraslovl.
I somewhat doubt we'll see Iginla in the NHL next season, isn't BA on record that he wants to let prospects develop, or am I misremembering?

I think he's not too dogmatic about good long cookings. Cooley, Guenther must have showed, that they could belong, got a shot and are now regulars. MavLam could be next. Kolya on the other hand took a little longer and is doing at least Ok now

I do think Tij'll get his 9 games in anyways.
Simashev will replace Cole and But will replace Carcone
Depending on how Durzi and Marino play after their injury, Utah still could use an upgrade to Valimaki at LHD.

Guenther was cooking in junior and minors for a long time.
I guess a 9 game trial is possible but that would make iginla not be a substitute for bjugstad or kerfoot

Trade Crouse resign Bjugstad. Iggy is still a year away. Might even resign Kerfoot

It’s so young that the usual suspects will be crying of rebuild failure all over again! Many of whom, were outspoken proponents of playing youth over NHL’ers.

You're right.
It's only difficult for me to imagine Iginla going back to the W because of what I expect he will do with his time there this year. That story hasn't played out yet.
I wonder if a trade with the Bruins may be possible? A shake up by them that we can take advantage of.

That's not entertaining! McAvoy is the one not living up to his contract.
Still I'm torn between trying to acquire pending UFAs and thinking that the chances of re-signing them are increased and keeping the assets and trying to sign them in the off season which may be unlikely! (Frederic and Provorov)

Not Peeke please. He needs a very simple system with team defense. He's not the solution to our defense
Funny with how maligned he was (and the Coyotes for picking him) but Dylan Strome is pretty darn good the last few years.
