Tavares was just like... yeah its unfortunate but we're worried about what we're doing here with our own coaching staff.

The Toronto guys have been skating together from mid August .. Tree said rest of guys have been at Ford for past 3 weeks .. camp is well underway .. da guys I'm sure know already exactly how they are lining up for pre season .. what is different is da CBA dictates what can be done under a formal team structure and mandate

I would like to be wrong about Nylander at center because then you don't need a 3rd line center at the deadline but the last time he did it for more than a game or 2 was 7 years ago

Pair him with at least one defensively strong winger, and all will be fine.

It's not like Stamkos is a D whiz.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with trying it. Worst case scenario you just move him back to the wing. Best case scenario we have the best centre depth in the league.
