Haven't seen him on any of the lists. Could be that the Marlies are holding informal skates on one of the other pads?
Odd yes got the Leafs practice jersey though
He was there for at least 2 days, 22nd and 23rd

Wonder if it's more an informal invite, "come hangout, skate, see what it's like, but you want see any games and will report to Marlies camp once it starts", so they didn't announce it
And if that's the case, I wonder if there are any other Marlies hanging out there too

Interesting to see Cowan with the "Leafs" group still. Gregor and Robertson there as well. On the D side, Lagesson with the main group too.

It appears as though Jarnkrok is NOT practising. Is this our LTIR candidate to start the year?;)

it's that or he's being traded?

considering the leafs cap and his caphit it really can be either at this point

I am very confident that there would be some form of announcement or rumours about it if that was the case. It would be unprecedented for something like that to not have any smoke.

I thought Noah Gregor currently on a PTO looked good and stood out in this game.

Would have been nice to sign someone like him instead of Reaves.

A 4th line of Gregor - Kampf - Lafferty would be very annoying to play against, fast, and have some scoring ability to go along with their good defensive play.

I remember seeing Jarnkrok in the first couple practices, so I would bet that he injured himself. But it's weird they didn't announce it like they did with Simon Benoit or offer some form of update in the last day or so.

With the Leafs Cap situation he is the most likely player traded to become Cap compliant.

Leafs might not be playing him to ensure he is not injured and currently being shopped in trade.

With Leafs being +$2 mil over the start of season roster, that makes Calle Jarnkrok @ $2.1 mil a logical choice to be dealt.

Here is the List injury list as being reported.

The Leafs are not 2 million over the cap but I still agree with the conclusion that Jarnkrok could be the logical one to move.

With 12F, 7D and 2G the Leafs are approximately $500k over the cap

Trading Jarnkrok and signing Gregor to min in theory would actually give the leafs about $830k in cap space which they could sit on and accrue for the deadline or bring up Holmberg (800k) and have 22 players.
