Camp opens Friday the 22nd with the first exhibition game Sunday afternoon the 24th.(strange going opposite the NFL)

Friday feels late in terms of a start time, especially considering most if not all the players are already in the city. Exciting nonetheless!

I think the length of camp is mandated by the CBA. I imagine Friday is the 1st day allowed.
It'll be good to have hockey back, most are looking forward to it I'm sure.

Thought I read that a few teams started earlier than Friday but I could be wrong.
 
I thought CJ was saying in a recent podcast that it was team Golf, medicals, an off-ice day and then on the ice Friday... or something to that effect. Regardless, anyone who is participating in training camp is in town.

I feel silly saying, but I am looking forward to some pre-season games... something is wrong with me lol

I wish they got camp going tomorrow, buts OK. With football on Thursdays literally tonight and tomorrow are the last days sans sports until the All-Star break.
