Mathematicians, what say you on this one? My first thought was (36/C)+2, but that comes out wrong. I still think that’s the answer they’re looking for. My other thought was (36/(C-1))+2. Still doesn’t work out right though. Sixth grade math!

WTF.

Now I remember why math gave me fits in middle school.

Expression: F*** this shit.

4. When is bed time?

I think it’s 36/c + 2 after all. I made too much of this
I was going to say, it's definitely (36/c)+2.

I hated math class when I was in middle and high school (mostly because I was lazy and didn't want to do homework it was always first thing in the morning when I was a tired teenager), but as an adult i find I'm actually quite good at math and like the problem solving aspects of it.

I am lousy at math. I actually looked up doing a percentage last night sadly. I was taught the move the decimal divide the larger number by the smaller way and that unfortunately does not always stick with me. I did endless percentage problems in grade school and middle school too.

My HS gave 'morning detention' as an option. Seemed kinda pointless because it kind of made me not care about getting in small trouble since I would just opt for the morning detention where I would get my homework completed there instead of wasting afternoon time where I could be hanging out with friends.

I kept using an 18 man roster as a sample, and figuring if they averaged 2 goals then17 guys would’ve scored 34…so Matt scored 4 which brings them to 38

But Matt props the average up, so with him they all average 2, without him the average dips quite a bit. Then it made sense

Imagine telling your cellmate that you're in for grand theft b/c you stole metal cups.

This Stanley fad is obnoxious.

I'm heading to an Invisalign consultation shortly. I had braces in 5th/6th grade. I wore my retainer for a while but, admittedly, not as long or as consistently as I should have (does anyone wear them like they're supposed to?). The bigger issue was my wisdom teeth coming in - once those came, my front teeth got crowded.

Cosmetically, it's really not that bad or even noticeable (of course I notice it). The larger issue is I'm a bad teeth grinder at night and the crowding makes it virtually impossible to wear a night guard with any level of comfort/ability to sleep. Trying to see if uncrowding the front teeth will make life more comfortable with a guard, or even just wearing the Invisalign trays as protection.

Anyone here have experience with Invisalign?

If I were her, I think I’d keep that to myself. Personally, I’ve never been locked up, but they do say you shouldn’t talk about your case with ANYONE on the inside. Even your celly. They might try to use what you told them to get their own sentence reduced.

My ex did it years ago. From what i remember, excruciating pain the first day of a new set, but the results were excellent. She still recommends it to me sometimes. Probably just her way of saying “your teeth are all jacked up” but oh well.

No, but I certainly have experience with grinding my teeth into dust lol

I get so much shit from my dentist haha

(my grinding started with the advent of advanced analytics)

Looks like our one week of real winter is over here in VT, at least for now. It was nice to have snow that was not melting. Sump pumps finally shut off. Ice rinks froze.

Back to your regular scheduled freeze/thaw
We are finally back above freezing, barely, as is this morning. There is still ice/snow on the ground from the storm a week ago plus additional freezing rain at the end of the week.

Now it's going to rain all this week with a high in the 60s on Thursday :help:

January has been bonkers here
