That sounds like the most uncomfortable procedure ever. Did you ask the Doc for a selfie?
No, but each time they tilted the table back up to drain me they had 2 orderlies there to hold me up because you are almost certain to at the very least nearly pass out due to everything rushing out of your body at once.

What's the worst pain you've guys had?

for me, it's gotta be getting three cysts out of my back left leg (hamstrings I guess). What they do is put a pretty big needle in your leg to freeze/numb and they they take a scraper thing to dig out the cysts. Well, she didn't put enough of the numbing stuff into my leg so I felt EVERYTHING when she was digging out the first cyst. Either way not a pleasant thing to go through; the numbing stuff doesn't even work that good because you can still feel them digging inside of your leg.

I was tested positive for mesa infection a few days later (after first being tested as negative :shakehead)and I still get reoccurring cysts. Long story short, don't get mrsa/staph!

Either:

a) got my eye-teeth removed and it turned out that my gums weren't fully numb when they went in with their tooth-cracking implement.

b) playing basketball in my parents' driveway (portable hoop, gravel driveway). My dad had this trailer-hitch thing parked right under the hoop and kind of in the way. I went to dunk and when I came down my shin scraped on the trailer. Didn't think much of it at the time, not too much blood... next day started swelling, day after became burning hot and I couldn't walk. Very painful infection.

Honourable mention:

c) playing indoor soccer when I was young, tackled a guy when he was about to shoot and got the ball... the full force of his kick ended up on my shin. Even though it was right in my shinpad, I was in unbelievable pain. I don't know how a kick in the shins could hurt that much but it was groinkick-levels of pain.

Brain injuries.

Besides that. When I was played hockey, I went behind the net to pick up the puck and and the last second I saw the guy at the last second and he hit me. I was sandwiched between the boards and the player, I didn't suffer a dislocated/separated shoulder. The thing that happened to me was it did injure the muscles in my left shoulder. I had to walk slanted. My left shoulder had to be higher than my right shoulder because if I tried to go back to normal and even out my shoulders the pain was excruciating. I was stuck like this for 2-3 weeks. That was rough year for hockey, that injury was the same year with 2 concussions and broken wrist. I legit played 10-15 games out of 40 that the team played.

Got my wisdom teeth pulled out - wound up with dry socket in one of the holes, the pain would actually wake me up at night, couldn't sleep for days.

Sorry to hear that man... I got mine pulled out when I was a freshman in high school, my mom was smart and decided that I should get them pulled out before they grew.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I have a scar from that but it wasn't as painful as the cysts.
:laugh: he will never be allowed to forget that as long as he posts here. I'm sure telling us will cause more mental scars than his bleach bath :laugh:

Hahaha jeez, I forgot what he was talking about until now! I'm glad someone will always be there to remind him

Geez guys, thanks for the love!

A good friend of mine was killed on Saturday morning ATVing outside of the city..

Been a ****** couple of days.

He sent me a snapchat at 2:30 am, apparently the accident happened 10 minutes later.

Someone gets the pain! Draining is the worst

Yeah I can't even put into words how bad it hurt. The cyst was getting so big so it was putting pressure on my spine, I couldn't sit and I could barely walk. It was the most tender thing ever so when they stuck a foot long needle in it to drain it I almost turned into the Hulk and ripped the medical bench I was laying on in half.

Nogger, I'm so sorry to hear that man, that is so sad! These things when they happen never make any sense. Hang in there bro, you'll never get over it but you learn to cope with it.

Thanks bae's.

It's just crazy how the day before we were talking hockey (he's an Oiler fan), and now he's gone.

Life is way too short to sweat the little things. It's been a rough 2014 in our family/friends involving death, so in a sense it's made me a better person not to take life for granted. Always take time to smell the flowers, and make time for your friends/family.
