Lou: not one bit.

You've gone to the gym alone for your physical enjoyment, why not the movies?

I have to leave the faucet running just a trickle or the pipes freeze. Last winter my water bill was atrocious :(

I meant to leave the little electric heater on under my sink but forgot. This morning...no water in the kitchen. I got the cold going early and the hot just came back :yo: I am thankful no pipes exploded to make a mess.

I am staying in today. I don't feel well (cold/ flu ?) my heel hurts and there is a hockey game to watch. I HATE being sick so I have decided to give myself today to get well. ...tomorrow I want to feel better.

I am making a small home made chicken pie and drinking ginger ale.

I tried to start car - not even a click - I will call AAA - tomorrow

Got out of work last night at 10:30 and my car made a weird high-pitched keening when I started it. Never heard that sort of noise before (it wasn't the shaky water pump noise - I have heard that before). I thought for a while it wasn't going to make it a quarter mile but fortunately it calmed down.

This isn't anywhere near the coldest temps I've felt. I left a wrestling meet once around midnight in upstate New York and found out later it was 45 below zero. Coldest spot in North America that day. Thankfully my car started right up.

Feel better soon! :)

Pipes to my washing machine are frozen. Only exposed pipe is the PVC drainage. Don't really know what to do.

my neighbor told me he had frozen pipes in kitchen and used a hair dryer and worked

wow, same thing happened to me at 6:30 this morning when I was going out to get coffee- I turned around at end of street and went back and took kid's car

it was weird noise but high pitched keening sure sounds like a good description

I've done the hair dryer thing before, but that was at the old house where I could see the piping.

All of the water pipes for the machine are in the wall, I can only see the PVC drainage. I guess I'll try that.
