@Ladyfan Enjoy Jackson tonight

The Load Out is the anthem for those of us who work behind the camera

But the crew's on the bus
And they're waiting to go
We've got to drive all night and do a game in Chicago
Or Tampa, I don't know
We do so many games in a row
And these towns all look the same
We just pass the time in our hotel rooms
And wander 'round pregame
Till those lights come up and that puck is dropped
And we remember why we came

Fenway. Jackson was excellent.
The last song he played was your song.

I thought of you.

Norman, OK
Thankfully just some heavy rain w/thunderclaps & lightning flashes. Did not lose power or suffer any damage. Some towns north of here lost power for a while. Some towns in western CT got hit pretty hard.
Looks like Hamden/Oxford/Newtown got hit hard.

My uncle texted my aunt with”do you have any ruby slippers?”

They are in Wethersfield.

I also saw a photo of a funnel cloud in Windsor but they aren’t sure if it touched down or not.

Glad you all escaped the worst.

Yes by the time it got out here the storm's power was pretty well spent. Not that I am complaining. Glad your aunt & uncle are OK.

Tornado warning in Litchfield Hills (northwestern part of CT) so **** is about to get real here given how fast the storm cells are moving.

I'll be under my desk if you want to find me :help: :scared:
We had a tornado warning as well yesterday afternoon- that storm covered a lot of ground! Furley & I took cover in the basement. Here he is under hubby’s reloading desk.

Hope everyone made it out okay from the storms.
We live near mt wachusett, and for some reason the storms always die out right when they get in this area, so we never really get bad Tstorms. Snowstorms are a different animal tho.

Poor Furley! My younger cat Patrice was very upset- first she walked around the apartment meowing constantly which is something she never does, then she hid between the bookcase and the side of the recliner. The older cat Marmalade hardly opened his eyes the entire time lol

Oh nice I can't wait to watch the DVR tonight.

Wheel has had some absolutely terrible contestants recently.

I hate Wheel of Fortune. Not that it's a bad show. I'm just terrible at it. I sit there and stare at the puzzle and never get the answers. Which is weird because I'm good at crosswords and I play wordscapes on my phone all the time.
