Glad I never use convenience store microwaves!!!

Is it wrong that my main reaction to that story is...$500 for a microwave? I get that Kwik-E-Marts of the world have to have industrial strength microwaves rather than the cheap one I got at Target, but...that seems like a lot. I guess the extra is for the gallons of bleach they had to use to decontaminate the area....

Not everyone is such a big fan like ODAAT

I love the music from the late 60's and 70's. I brought my daughter up listening. She has always loved Tom Petty. She starting asking at the age of three to go to a concert.

When she started first grade I told her if she tried hard in school I would take her to a concert in the Summer. She got all "A"s so after first grade we went to see James Taylor ....after second it was Tom Petty. She was 7. It was at Great Woods in Mansfield Mass (I am not sure what it is called today). We had seats three rows from the stage / center front. I remember we got there early. She was watching the roadies set up and there was a guy sitting at the piano. He looked up and said hi to her. She asked him if he was tuning up Belmont's piano. He asked if she knew the guys in the band . She said "Well I know them but they don't know me".

We saw Tom and the Heartbrakers many times. They were a very good band to see live.

She goes to many concerts in Calif.

I am looking forward to seeing Jackson tonight. Amanda and I always have fun together.

Thankfully just some heavy rain w/thunderclaps & lightning flashes. Did not lose power or suffer any damage. Some towns north of here lost power for a while. Some towns in western CT got hit pretty hard.
