Anyone know where to get a white Leaf wall logo, there are plenty of blue ones online but no white ones. It’s a white logo on the jerseys, go figure

Glad it’s back on LR, good stuff. I admire that your priority with whatever power you did have remained posting Simpsons memes on HF Leafs. Dedication

It was a tough time but glad it is over.
Completely unacceptable, people will freeze to death. I don't think it was even five days without power for me when Fiona hit.
Yeah, the funniest part is...we were one of the first to lose the power too...but we got it back probably second last. There are still some people without it even today. This was like the minimal impact tree stuff
one word…….Generator……..
Didn't respond earlier, it can only do so much.

Just picked up a 4 pound piece of prime roast to cook on Christmas Day.

Any roasts I've done have been in a slow cooker.

Looking for tips on how to cook this one in the oven so it's medium done. I can go medium rare but a few in the group can't handle that.

So what temperature and for how long to cook in oven for a medium finish?

does your oven Have a convection roast option? If so cook it at 350 until it’s internal temp is 110f, let rest for 10-15 minutes before carving that should ensure the outer slices won’t be rare. I did a two bone prime rib on Sunday and it looks about the same size, pulled it at 90f and it was perfectly rare. Enjoy, and don’t forget the horseradish……….

I hit up Mr Pide this afternoon for a Turkish sausage pide with mozzarella and a lentil soup. Then I was off to The Only for 2 pints, a coffee and Skor cookie along with a Reese's PB one to go.

Barrel aged Negroni. I had to google this, I'm hardly even drink cocktails any more but it sounds really interesting. Let us know how it turned out.
Cheers and Merry Xmas to y'all!
Turned out pretty fantastic. Nice and oak-y. Gives a negroni a whole other level of awesomeness.

Hey gang. The prime roast was a success. Just did a slight pepper, garlic and Applewood smoked rub and finished it with a nice reverse sear!View attachment 790467View attachment 790468View attachment 790469View attachment 790471View attachment 790472View attachment 790473
Looks wonderful and I bet it tasted better.

Do you have the space to cook on BGE or similar? I got one a couple of years back and kick myself for not doing it sooner. It takes meat to a whole new level.

Unfortunately I personally don't but I fully agree with you.

I've tried some next level type of stuff through friends that have own or other smokers as well.
