I'm talking the spray can. Honestly I loved that stuff. Couldn't eat it now but back then I was young and immortal.

So gasoline. In my area it's $2.47 - $2.51 5 miles away in Hip Donelson it starts at $2.69 and goes up-- highest I saw was $2.79.
I can't remember who made it but there was a garlic cheese spread that came in a plastic package like sausage but there was an opening on the side that you had to cut with a knife then squeeze the package to get the spread out. Mom used to have to take it away to keep me from eating the whole thing in one sitting

Edit... looked it up.. Kraft Squeeze-A-Snak

Oh man I just never could get passed how that looked to even try it. I think its because it kind of resembled that liverwurst stuff.

Back in the 70's, the common "food" for a Friday or Saturday night was squeeze cheese, a sack full of Krystals and some Oreos, but you do you.

I’m not a fan of that except for the sackful crystals. I’m still trying to figure out the whole Oreo Coca-Cola.

Gas today at $2.39 at Exxon in Goodlettsville at Long Hollow and Conference Drive!

And somehow I got it for 2.29! I don't use their rewards program so I don't know how I got 10 cents off, but I'll take it!

Most of the stations were listed around 2.40.
BJs listed at 2.37.

Check out lady at Kroger and I decided that was a Nope. I'm not a good judge, I don't really like Coke that much. (Dr Pepper is my soft drink of choice) The Krystal close to me closed and supposedly a Tim Horton's is going in there, but you can't tell anything is actually happening.

I was like that with Velveeta. I'd go over to my best friend's house and her mama would have one of those little loafs just for me...she knew how fond I was of them. Now I can't eat dairy without suffering but if her mama put one out for me now I'd eat it.

I filled up for $2.69 today. Just about everybody is under $3 now in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

The "expensive" gas stations that are 1/2 a mile away from my home are down to $2.85. They were $3.39 just two weeks ago. We are off of the "summer gas" that costs more, but fights ozone pollution.
Twenty years ago, we would have 10 or 15 Ozone Action Days a summer. Now it is zero or one. We get some of our summertime pollution from Chicago. Just another reason to hate the Bears, Cubs and Bulls. I feel sorry for the White Sox fans having to put up with 130 losses.

Here's my problem with the Disney show "Agatha All Along". Yeah, I know this is the MCU, not comics. I've been reading Marvel since the 60s. What made Harkness so cool was that she was an old, powerful, evil witch, not Kathryn Hahn with the biggest celebrity face-lift ever.

Ours got down to $2.47 but on Monday afternoon they jumped up to $2.85 and higher (except for the new 7-11 that still has it at $2.48, but they're in the middle of their grand opening) Figures, I'm needing gas again. Maybe I'll try theirs.

I saw a picture of the stadium for a White Sox game. Said 14 fans in the stands but I call BS. There were at least 30.

Looking at streaming options. What is best option to be able to ensure that I don't miss any hockey games. I want to make sure I get all Preds games and have NHL network. I can add ESPN+ to any of them, but it looks like some of the streaming services don't have Bally's or NHL Network. Any guidance? Thanks!

I run ESPN+HBO Max and a VPN and that gets me all of the games minus the NHL network ones. Those I have a good addblocker and watch on a less than legal stream

Newsweek published a map claiming to show the most popular beer in every state. They claim the most popular in beer in TN is Dos Equis. They also claim that the most popular beer in the states East, South, and West of TN is Corona. They claim the most popular beer in KY is Bud.

OK, get a report from friends in Florida that waffle houses are closing for the hurricane. I don’t think the Hurricane Preds are going to be playing on Friday.

Well it's the most googled beer in each state in any case. Which begs the question who is out there googling Bud Light?

If Waffle House is closing, it's going to be real bad.
My Uncle lives on Sand Key, which is across the bridge from Clearwater. The storm surge breached the storm wall and pushed all of that sand into the parking garages and messed up both of his cars. They also haven't had power for most of the night. In the end all replaceable but still sucks.

One more weekend w/o hockey. We're going to have a baddest brew party. Each person puts in $5 for the prize fund. The person who can drink the most full cans wins the cash but loses their taste buds.

The selections are
1. Bud Select 55.
2. Natural Light
3. Sharp's
4. Keystone Light
5. Beer 30 Light - Yes, it's a bad name but it is a real beer as you can see above.
6. Natural Ice
7. Miller 64
8. Milwaukee's Best Light - We call it "Milwaukee's Worst"
9. Bud Light
10. Milwaukee's Best - Again, we call it "Milwaukee's Worst"
11. Busch Ice
12. Corona Light - No limes are allowed! :eek3:

Wait, how many people are in it? Do you end up having to buy like 50 cases of beer, since the winner can probably drink like 20 or 30 cans of some those light beers?

The barrier islands are a rough place to be in a storm. That area is lucky that it's never had a direct hit, but obviously even a passing storm can create enough surge to cause havoc there. And driving out of Pinellas county is bad enough on any normal day with great weather, trying to evacuate in a hurricane is an absolute nightmare.
