So Will Smith bitch slapped Chris Rock...

I lost respect for Smith for not cold cocking Rock.

Rock has made MULTIPLE jokes about Smith's wife losing her hair; she's an actress, that's got to be incredibly painful to her.

I don't care if it was public, Rock made a joke, a painful joke about Smith's wife on international TV.

How am I the bad guy? How is Smith?

Rock is a comedian that is literally their job. Pryor, Carlan, Bruce, Chappelle, Murphy and Rickles all would have had zero issue pushing the boundary, that is what they do.

The problem for Smith isn't for being upset about it, it's how he handled it. You take that shit up with him behind the scenes after the show. That's what Denzel was trying to point out to him, when you are at the top that is when you gotta act your best cause that is when they will try their best to tear you down. Don't do the Devils work for them.

If anything look to what veteran comics are saying about it. Almost all of them are siding with Rock, even the most liberal woke ones.

I'd also add if you think that is the proper way to handle a joke you don't like then definitely stay away from comedy clubs. You will end up in jail real quick because you won't have the advantage of celebrity like Smith had.

This is not the first time Rock did that to Smith's wife. It honestly looks like Smith warned him, 'don't'

Doesn't really matter, they are public figures, it's part of the gig. Also the don't part came after the joke, not before. Smith also loses some of his oomph considering he was laughing at it right up until the point he turned and saw his wife not laughing at it.

He wasn't mad, he just didn't want to deal with the mess he was going to deal with from her when he got home. Will does not wear the pants in that relationship and it has been questioned as to whether he is actually mentally abused by her long before this incident.

It is nice up there. The Navy had ELF for contacting subs near Clam Lake. Ì don't think they use it anymore, it was too slow.

So I'm watching Jackass Forever and they did a "Cup Test" in which Danger Ehren took shots to the...cup... with varying projectiles. They had PK Subban do the hockey puck one...

Close, should have been class of '92 but beer and weed had something to say about that timeline
Should have graduated class of '76 when you could be one of the "smart kids" just for not "taking the heroin" during class time.

I kid, of course. You had to make A's in something.

And I bet you arent nearly as old as I am.... Class of 86
That puts you just a couple years shy of Old Enough To Be My Father.

Ostensibly I was supposed to be '02 but things kind of fell apart right around the new millenium (in keeping with unofficial family tradition). And the absolutely crazy, utterly disgraceful thing is that this managed to put me at a fiscal advantage compared to so many of my generation, becuase, y'know, college debts. I'd have to check with my brother but I wouldn't be surprised if he's still making payments on his...
