I always loved him on Weekend Update and his monologue when he hosted SNL the year after being fired is hilarious.
We all know what happens if you don’t take the encouraged advice. There comes a time in life when you are moving and downsizing that you realize it is time to throw away those team calendars dating back to 2004, as well as that wheelbarrow full of programs. She Who Must Be Obeyed strongly encourages it.
Anyone live in Gallatin? If so, best place to catch a game?
I feel like hopping over to Buffalo Wild Wings in Hendersonville would be a good bet since the team hosts viewing parties there from time to time, there's one in Gallatin too I think that has hosted in the past but not as often. Either way I'm sure one of them would be showing the games or would turn them on if you asked.
Alternatively, the "Preds Approved" bars in the area are...

You could try Double Dogs.Anyone live in Gallatin? If so, best place to catch a game?
Met the manager of the restaurant in a class recently. Great guy who has a true passion for the business and desire to serve.I don’t know what the gameday vibe is like there but Swaney Swifts which is one of the Preds approved bars makes some damn good burgers.
They probably will when they have game footage from this year. I've noticed that they don't really update everything, even game ops, til the season starts. Til then they're in training camp mode, it's not "official". Me, too. That is why I don't wear my jersey til it's the first regular game.
I'd assume that there's a way to say "you only need to contact me via X method" - they've got a similar system up here and I just had to tell them "just text me, that's it". My father was not so wise at first and so was getting texted AND called in this fashion until I finally got him to change those settings.Okay, so we're having rain. (Yes, again)
And apparently it is bad and can cause flooding. I get that. Danger Will Robinson. But if you respond to the text message telling you about it and confirm both at the link AND on the text message do they REALLY need to call, too? And leave a voice message that begins with "Press 1 to confirm receipt" (no actual information) and then when you do that it asks the same thing over and over til you hang up?
The initial notification doesn't annoy me, but the redundancy does.
All that said, hope everyone is okay.
I'll check settings-- seems logical.I'd assume that there's a way to say "you only need to contact me via X method" - they've got a similar system up here and I just had to tell them "just text me, that's it". The problem was not the message, it was that they didn't believe me when I said I indicated that I had heard the message multiple times and that the phone message was broken.Being I live in Shelbyville I was pretty happy to get those messages because the local news has a tendency not to really give a crap until it's too late unless you live right around Nashville directly.
We got lucky they were able to close the Normandy release as soon as they did and avoided needing to raise the flood gates and cutting the south end of town off.
No one does that with us, we just get an emergency message. The problem was not the message, it was that they didn't believe me when I said I indicated that I had heard the message multiple times and that the phone message was broken.
Depends on where you are in the country. Tennessee was having labor issues before the pandemic and you just had the big announcement of Ford in west Tennessee and Smith and Wesson in Maryville still to come.Headhunters are calling ME for jobs.
"I am on disability."
Headhunter: "We can make it work!"
Were we that maxed out on labor production or did the virus kill 10% of Americans?

I know my local gas station has gone from offering $11/hr to start to $13.50 and still need people.
If you can't find a job it's either because you aren't willing to work or are unwilling to move.
