Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Like most, I appreciate Adams trying to get creative to acquire a goalie but I am sorry Ottawa really shot themselves in the foot... how are you going to give Matt Murray a NTC in his contract?

I always thought the Anderson signing meant the overall plan for goalie was to try lesser options. Confirmed.
And J.D. McKissic backed out of a deal to sign with the Bills to go back to the Commanders and Dadonov refused a trade to Anaheim. If Murray would rather stay with Ottawa, is that saying Ottawa is more desirable than the Sabres?
At least now all the people who feared Adams signing Anderson meant he was done looking for another goalie or he was going to refuse to weaponize cap space, or both, can forget that silly nonsense.
The worst thing about the Murray thing is the details got out. Every team with a goalie without a NTC/NMC's price just went up for Buffalo. Aiden Hill might cost us the 28th.
You think the availability of Murray as an option to Buffalo is that relevant of a factor? WHY?

Holy cow, fire Adams. We have enough assets, and there isn't much difference between pick 7 and 16. You do not take on a terrible goalie to get a comparable asset. What the heck is wrong with this guy?
How about weaponizing your cap space with players that can actually play?!?! This organization is in such a sad state with Adams.

The dichotomy in these responses is great lol. Personally I don’t think there is enough of a difference between 7 and 16 to take on a bad goalie on an awful contract
