I’m scared that Brock Boeser will become a Bruin. Just a gut feeling combined with CM and him being buddies and the team talking about how they don’t have enough shooters.
This year taught me that going for a 1st overall is useless. The Islanders just won it.
McKenna is AT best a 20% chance so that isn't worth tanking for or developing.
I'd be with you if Pastrnak, Lindholm, McAvoy, Lindholm and Swayman weren't all in their primes. Add in Geekie and Zadorov and you have a prime window roster missing 2-3 big pieces.
If it were ME, I'd be trading the 7OA+ for a top line C. Even the guys beyond 1-2 in this draft are widely considered 1-3 years away from the NHL.
This team has too much talent to bottom out and the culture was already fractured this year with the Swayman and Marchand drama. If they can get a top line C for current roster players and the 7OA I'd do it.
But I am with you in NOT spending on UFA's. If you cannot trade for a C, you continue this re-tool and draft the 7OA and draft low again next year and hope the guys in their prime don't decline while you wait a couple years for those picks to develop. Scary thought there.
Without Pasta, this team is dead last. This is VERY debatable. But particularly if Lindholm never gets back to form.
If Sway is 2024-2025 Sway in 2025-2026, then this team is one Pasta injury away from being in the bottom 5 quite easily.
it would line up with what we should expect. Another player that'll cost a bunch but not move the needleI’m scared that Brock Boeser will become a Bruin. Just a gut feeling combined with CM and him being buddies and the team talking about how they don’t have enough shooters.
Mitts for Rossi one for one. Minn boy goes homeView attachment 1030885
Have to imagine Rossi gets moved after a comment like that, no?
We had all those players and Marchand, Coyle, Frederic etc for a good chunk of the season and finished in 26th place. I would expect some rebounds and having Hampus back will help as well but this team is flawed. I have no issue with another bad year for a shot at McKenna. I'd be happy to lose as many games as we did or more as long as they stopped being blow outs almost every night. That in itself would be an improvement. This year taught me that going for a 1st overall is useless. The Islanders just won it.

OK break it down - what are we giving Minny for taking that contract? And then what are we giving for Rossi?Mitts for Rossi one for one. Minn boy goes home
The next two seasons have two primo, can't miss, monster prospects slated for #1oa. McKenna is clearly absurd and Dupont might be better and hasn't even turned 16 yet.btw nobody is saying a rebuild season gets you Mckenna.
But buying a bunch of stop gaps definitely means you miss him, and for no real result.
If you play the hand you're dealt right now and continue the rebuild, you have a 10-20% shot at a generational guy while you develop your kids. That's not bad...
One can only hope….notSweeney mentioned he wants to upgrade scoring with wingers, hard to find
the right centreman in Free agency so i could see sweeney going after :
boeser, ehlers, marchand, as free agent wingers.
Concubine?That concubine will never leave
Nothing more than keeping the Providence captain in place while also having some depth in case of emergency.
If you want to be upset about a 2-way contract that has little to no bearing on the NHL roster except for a handful of games, be my guest.Depth ?, unfortunately it's not quality depth.
I actually think this is a fairly decent deal, which probably means there is no chance it happens lol![]()
Trade Pitch Sees Bruins Dealing Goaltender for $10.28 Million Forward
A trade pitch has the Boston Bruins trading goalie Joonas Korpisalo to the Utah Hockey Club for a young forward in an intriguing deal.heavy.com
Succubus.Concubine?
Succubus.
Cockroach.
Whatever works. They guy will never leave!
(He's good for Providence. But I don't want to see him get any more minutes up here. Let the kids play)
Honestly giving a good hard working old AHL guy that knows his place and is a captain for the AHL 450k seems like a good move for overall organizational reputation among players if nothing else.I mean if a team offered you $450k to play in the AHL would you leave?
