I think the great part about the roster is in guys like Rasmus, JPA, Lind and Santos and them having the potential to be good to really good. Right now not really all that much is expected from those guys and still under that situation we still look like a friggin good team. If even two of them have strong seasons were laughing. I honestly have not seen this type of talent on a Toronto sports team maybe in last 15 years.

Some can debate 10 years, Leafs had a very good team early millennium. Crazy to think in the late 90s we had Carpenter (though he sucked with us), Hentgen, Clemmens on our starting rotation. Delgado, Green, Carter (though he was older). Some great players when I started to really get into the team, great having a lot of talent again

I'm assuming because everyone has those. I'm also a fan that gets jerseys that aren't the most popular, like Rasmus

Ah good point. I want Lawrie. I think it's awesome my favorite ball player wears 13.

But my 2nd choice is Reyes (Johnson I'd debate if he got extended)

I wore #7 on my highschool soccer and baseball teams so I'll probably pick up a Reyes jersey. Plus I was always a huge fan of his. '06 Mets had an awesome roster.

Anyone know where I can find the full Dickey conference call from today? Fan590 and TSN Radio just have snippets and the Jays website doesn't seem to have it either.

He was an awful example of someone who suddenly learned pitch recognition, because he'd always shown that he could have a pretty good approach at the plate.

You stated that he had 2 seasons with the Reds where he had a BB% above 10%, implying that he was a bad example because for the most part, he didnt have a high BB% over the years.

A roster that had them beat by the Cards. I loved that series because I won a ton of money off it. Never doubt the Cards in the playoffs.

Yeah I'm usually like this too, but I got a Lawrie.

And I sort of regret it as everyone else has one lol

I figure I've offset it by probably being the only person in Canada with a Worcester Sharks Logan Couture jersey. And I have 2 team Germany hockey jerseys too. So I'm on the hipster side of the ledger on balance.

But then again, if I wasn't going with Lawrie on my Jays jersey, it'd probably have been Morrow, which isn't all that much rarer. I wasn't going to get a Jeff Mathis jersey or anything. :D

I'm getting a JP Ricciardi jersey.

I can't believe the transformation this team has underwent this off-season. Next years Jays team will have a completely different feel to it. I've never been as excited for a Jays team before, I can't wait to hopefully see some playoff baseball that I actually care about.

I didnt see it anywhere, but if you listened to PTS today, you wouldve heard that RC could get real grass as early as 2014 but much more likely for 2015. They have talks going on right now. They already told the Argo's to find another place to play. He said he hasnt found anyone who could confirm it. *This is just what McCown is reporting*
