Bryant is probably off the table since the Rockies are apparently pushing hard to sign him?

Not sure I understand that after they dumped Arenado, let Story walk without even so much as qualifying him...but uh, sure, I guess.
Bryant has really dropped off since his first three years in the league, let the Rockies have him.

I still kind of wish we could have had Ray AND Gausman .

Anyway, bring on Ramirez and Freeman please and thank you.

Don't the Jays have a full 40 man roster right now?

Need a trade or DFA before they can do anything.....

Atlanta actually looks smart letting Freddie walk. Got Olson on a bargain deal when he's younger and for longer term than Freddie would have gotten. Cheaper too.

Well played to the Braves. That will definitely take the sting out of losing Freddie.

Got Acuna, Olson and Albies for a combined 45m I believe.

Part of me wants this to be true just for the fact the Rays somehow outbid the f***ing Yankees and Dodgers.

2022 is screwy enough already where I might just buy it.

The price could be potentially cheaper for Chapman, since it seems like the Braves and Olson were talking contract before he got traded

I hate Tampa as it is.. this would outright tick me off.

Who would want to go play at the Trop though?

It has to be that elusive 6th year that's the sticking point for everyone else.

Dodgers already lost one bigger name player to not giving out a 6th year in the last few years (Grenike), the Yankees are apparently just too cheap and the Jays might not want to commit to it due to fears of decline.

Tampa swooping in to give him the 6th year while saving some money by doing so actually makes a lot of sense.

Correa is going to end up back in Houston after the market didn't develop like he thought it would.

I choose to use this information to clown on the Yankees though.

My other crackpot theory is Rays ownership is trying to nudge a stadium deal along so they're going to pretend to give a shit about the team for a bit to make it seem like it would be worthwhile.

The Marlins did this in 2011 then proceeded to sell all their big contracts to the Jays a year later.
