So how is Pearson best used? Stretched out in AAA or hitting his innings limit as a multi inning reliever?
ye maybe they will start using the DH in the more traditional way going forward as opposed to the "rest day" way they have been.Wagner says the Jays will add a big bat and the names he hears a lot is Ramirez. With Ramirez being unlikely they like Chapman and Schwarber is another name that keeps coming up.
Blair “everyone knows that Jose Ramirez is the Jays number one target”
“Maybe plan B is Chapman and then sign Schwarber to give you the left bat”
not sure i agree with that, they traded carrasco and lindor for less than what a moreno package would likely be. i think 2 of our top 6 prospects(not including moreno) someone like gurriel and another serviceable player is right.Trade for Chapman and Marte. Would probably be cheaper than Ramirez. We aren't getting Ramirez without giving up Moreno, which should be a non-starter.

seems like they are in a bit of panic mode to win with some of those huge contracts they have given out lately, and sherzer is gonna 38 in july so most likely they see these next few years as their best chance at a WS1 year of Bassitt for a Hoglund-type prospect seems... steep?

He's really good, but trading that type of prospect for 1 year of guy who's home/road splits are pretty massive due to his home park being one of the best pitching parks in the league just seems bad.seems like they are in a bit of panic mode to win with some of those huge contracts they have given out lately, and sherzer is gonna 38 in july so most likely they see these next few years as their best chance at a WS

Just Mets being Mets, tbh.
