Feels like shortening the Field is a low key jab at the Yankees joke of a RF, and that they’re keeping up with them for fairness

Not a big fan of these super hitter friendly parks.. but im a Jays fan first and foremost so I will take it. Would love to see one team go polar opposite and recreate the Polo Grounds.

Jays just released the new field dimensions

Right Center Field alley moving in from 375 feet to 357 feet
Left Center Field moving from 375 feet to 366 feet
Center field moving from 400 feet to 397 feet
Lines expected to stay the same at 328 feet

So a good hitters park is getting even better which should line up well with our teams strengths going forward.

Nice. Shorten right and then add some lefty pull hitters who'll excel both here and in Yankee stadium. Varsho and Belt have just gained more value. Smart.

Ditto .. I hate the Yankees short porch. But if you can't beat em, join em. At least the Jays will benefit a bit more too.

I am confused why our front office doesn't seem to have any urgency in getting Vladdy locked up. Like he actively seems to want to sign the extension at this point lol they obviously haven't tried with Bo either but I have a feeling Bo is going to free agency and we will have to bid on him like everyone else.
