he has to be the most useless player to see 8 minutes plus of ice time in the past 5-7 years of this franchise. maybe hordichuk (10+ years) at one point with the SH*T line but at least they just smashed the hell out of everyone. and hordi didn't see the ice this much.Salomaki sucks
anyone with tickets for tomorrow, let me knowI couldn't give mine away for Sunday night. I must've offered them free to 10 different people.
I think I'm going tomorrow, if not I'll post on here.anyone with tickets for tomorrow, let me know
cheapest on stubhubs (way high nosebleeds so don't know your tickets) are $29. with fees for 2 it comes out to $77 I believe. would rather pay one of you guys for a cold December game than a random guy on stubhub that may be more than face value.I think I'm going tomorrow, if not I'll post on here.
Bottom line improves a lot once Arvy & Turris get back. Plus I fully expect Poile to trade another 1st or 2nd to get another forward for the cup run. The bottom 3 we see today may all be scratches by the time we get to the postseason.
I am sure I am not alone here, but I absolutely hate it when injuries strike and make us so shorthanded. I know injuries are a fact of life and happen to every team, but the 3 we are missing right now is a huge deal- would cripple just about any team.
It probably shouldn't but it kind of sucks up some of my enthusiasm for the games.
I feel really good about our team when we are at full strength and have our full lineup. The question is- when is that going to be the case?? We know when Arvy is coming back, and Subban should HOPEFULLY be back at some point soon (although as usual his injury is a complete mystery). But Turris is a wild card- no telling how long he is going to be out.
We just have to find a way to survive until we get everyone back. These next two games are very important in my opinion- we absolutely need to beat Arizona/Chicago even with our injuries.
Win those two and we will be sitting here with a 19-7-1 record. I would be ecstatic with that considering everything.........
Injuries suck but as you said it's a part of it. I'm not really worried. Preds are weakened but even in the current state are good enough to beat anybody in the NHL. Ebbs and Flows of the season. As long as everyone is healthy for the playoffs I'm good.
Responding to the bolded...what makes these games so important?
