I was just perusing Todd Krygier's stats on HockeyDB and noticed that the man liked to score 30 points (he put up exactly 30 points in 4 of his first 5 NHL seasons):
In a similar vein, RNH has played the 3rd most games in an Oilers uniform. More than all but Ryan Smyth and Kevin Lowe. He should be the all time GP leader near the end of the 2026 season barring injury.Travis Konecny has played more games for the Flyers than Eric Lindros, Jeff Carter, Ron Hextall, Mike Richards and Danny Briere.
Bill Goldsworthy had an impressive 15 goals the last 19 games of the 73-74 season with the Minnesota North Stars, in that same time period he had 0 assists, possibly the record(or at least post war-period) for the most consecutive goals without an assists?
The best that Wayne Bianchin could do, the man with the record for the highest ratio of goals to assists in a season, was 12 goals with no assists.
I wonder if @pnep can find a longer goal scoring stretch without an assist than this one?
Not only scoring levels (obviously) but also number of games makes a big difference here.I was just looking through the seasons with the most 130 point players since it looks like we are getting 3 this season and I found this. Here is a seasonal breakdown over 130 point scorers.

The amazing thing to me is how we have a 26 season period from the end of the war without a single 130 point season, then we have 25 consecutive* seasons with a 130 point scorer followed by 26 consecutive seasons without a 130 point season. Always that 25 season period so now that we have started getting 130 point scorers again maybe it will stick around for longer then we might think?
Coincidentally enough I recently conducted some research of my own on 130-point seasons, specifically looking at the performance of players in the first and second halves of those seasons. I added up their point totals for each half and looked into the increase or decrease in their production. In cases where players missed time this is not from the teams halfway point but rather the halfway point for the player. And where the number of games played was an odd number, I used the exact midpoint of the middle game e.g. if a player played in 79 games, the first half comprised their initial 39 games plus the first 30 minutes of their 40th game. Their second half numbers would then commence from the halfway mark of that 40th game until the end of the season. While more players experienced an increase (28) than those who saw a decrease (22), overall the numbers were relatively balanced, with a very slight almost negligible skew towards the negative(-0.3%). I was quite surprised to see the player at the very top, did not expect that.I was just looking through the seasons with the most 130 point players since it looks like we are getting 3 this season and I found this. Of players who played at least 50% of a team's games, Canadian center Dave Bolland...
...has the unique distinction of being the worst 'minus' player ever (at a modest -7) on one of the best teams ever, the 2012-13 Chicago Blackhawks. No NHL-er has ever had a worse plus/minus on an equal or better team. (The caveats are that 2013 was only a 48-game season, and also D-man Sheldon Brookbank and forward Brandon Bollig were also 'minuses'.)
The only player vying with Bolland is the 'Grim Reaper', Stu Grimson, on the similarly powerful 1995-96 Red Wings. Grimson somehow went -10 in 56 games on a .799 team.
Bolland, Brookbank, Bollig (all Hawks '13) and Grimson (Red Wings '96) thus are the only four players in history to play 50% or more of the games for a .765 (by points-percentage) or better club and end up a 'minus'.
