I’m not sure. I saw them in July in Anaheim and got a bunch of Trout bobbleheads.

If they happen to be playing somewhere I’m at (was at Disneyland before realizing they were playing in Anaheim that weekend), I may watch. If I get a free ticket in Sac I may go, but I refuse to put money directly into Fisher’s pocket.
at least the Angels were in your area when you went, when I went to Disneyland / California Adventure in June the Angels were on a road trip or else I would have gone

It's accessible by ART too, good stuff

Only a short 8 hour drive lol.

Most times when I plan a trip it never goes the way I imagine. On this one I just did what I felt like doing and it was fantastic. Didn’t even know there was a bobblehead giveaway, either.

The hotel was just across the street from the stadium and even the fans who were heckling Butler in rf where I sat were tame as hell. It was a good experience, and I’d recommend if you or anyone is ever around again to check one out.

probably biased since i live 10 minutes away and have been going to games there since i was 10, but angel stadium is easily the most stress-free stadium experience i've had among all the parks i've visited. incredibly easy to access, parking lot isn't a bitch to get out of after the game, ushers don't care if you move into empty seats in the lower bowl, and never had any bad experiences with unruly fans

its certainly doesn't come close to matching the "modern" ballpark experiences you get at parks like globe life or the environment of parks like petco or oracle, but its a great place to take in a game for its own reasons. just wish there was more to do within walking distance of the park

I hope every single person involved in this sham loses someone very close to them very soon. Karma is a bitch, just like Doris Fisher.

Can’t believe some of you are STILL f***ing stupid enough to believe Oakland could have done something different about this. Fisher moved both the A’s and the Raiders not because he had to, because he wanted to. That’s the only thing his worthless fat ass will ever be remembered for.

You hope random innocent people die because of a sports team moving...?

Why should anyone take you seriously at all?

Yeah, there were a lot of places to eat in walking distance but not a whole lot to do. That is definitely something that can be improved.

Been to over a half dozen mlb stadiums and this one was my favorite for a lot of the same reasons you mentioned.

When 3 teams in 3 different sports in 5 years bail on your city, maybe it's time to be honest with ourselves. Oakland was no longer a serious city for major sports.

Just save everyone the time and say you don’t know what the f*** you’re talking about.

A’s moved both them and the Raiders after they signed a 10-year lease under false pretenses. Warriors were always the bay’s team, and Lacob would have built a new stadium in Oakland for the A’s with his own money, like he did in SF with the Warriors. Butt Selig moved the A’s when he sold them to his frat buddy Lew Wolfe (who ended up selling his majority to Fisher) instead of the much, much MUCH more competent Lacob.

But please, keep regurgitating the same old shit that anyone with a brain can see through.

John Fisher got his new stadium in San Jose with the Earthquakes, and anyone who follows MLS can tell you how big of a joke they’ve been ever since. Worst team year in and year out and also one of the lowest spending ones.

Good thing for Vegas that all the fans will be there for the road teams anyway, so no one will care about the shit product he puts out every season.

a number of new restaurants/bars/things to do will come out of the new ocvibe project being built around the pond and they'll be within walking distance to angel stadium. about time that area finally got an overhaul
