A competent commissioner would force a sell to a local group (like the Warriors owner who would buy them), but baseball wants to leave Oakland at all costs. Gag orders, suppressing information, lying about information, and overall incompetence rule not only the A’s ownership box, but also Manfred’s office.

I can’t wait until the public funding eventually gets on a Nevada ballot and they lose that money, too.

Like I’ve been saying forever, mlb and fisher are a bunch of p***yes. Wanting to blame the fans and the city officials when their crooked asses want to lie and weasel their way out of the market. At least if they do now people will actually see it for what it is.

As bad as the NHL is, at least Bettman fights to keep teams in the market. The MLB has gone from first to third because of decisions like this. Do we think Las Vegas is big enough for 3 teams? Let's see.

This is apparently an actual newish product.

Surprisingly on point for their ownership/management.

The question is 4, not 3.

Unless you consider the WNBA. Then it’s 5.

The A's would exist for the visitors, from what I've seen local interest in the A's is negligible.... at best.

Not surprising. To use a hockey comparison it would have been similar to the Arizona Coyotes announcing a move to Vegas 3 years in advance. Wouldn’t expect anyone to give a crap.

Assuming the move ends up happening, if they build good teams that consistently win and content for postseason, you’d expect a good fanbase. Massive if of course, given the owner and organization.

Smoke bomb and a piece debris here and there on the field in last game in Oakland.

Noting crazy or too rowdy tho, yet
