Of course he did, he's the main driver for the deal on the Strip and not at Rio or Wild Wild West. Still it's telling he supposedly has the money but he's out selling big stakes in the team to make it happen. No one really believes that

The Athletics should expect to play in front of packed houses at Sutter Health Park this season. The team announced Friday that it has sold all its season tickets for home games inside the 14,000-seat venue in West Sacramento. The team’s home opener is set for March 31 against the Chicago Cubs.
