Then there's Briere, Gionta and Bourque.

I don't think Therrien could have done ANYTHING to avoid the loss today.
It was going to happen. A huge letdown after the last series.

The only thing he could have done was to split Markov and Emelin as they're way too slow together.

Markov and Subban.
Gorges and Emelin.
Weaver and Beaulieu.

This feels like 2010 after we had two big emotional series wins over that Caps and Penguins. We ended up losing Game 1 of the semi-finals against Philly 6-0. That series didn't finish pretty. Therrien will have to regroup the team and come out strong in game 2 (for the record - we lost 3-0 in game 2 to Philly in 2010).

Want to know something funny? My family thinks we can beat the Kings/Hawks in a series of 7, and got pissed at me for disagreeing.
