This definitely has the makings of behind the scenes drama.

I'm not saying everything is related but too much crazy shit went on this year.

DeAngelo's breakdown with the rest of the team, Panarin being gone for weeks, now this f***ing Tom Wilson debacle, and of course, lets not forget that our first and second overall picks tremendously underwhelmed.

I was 100% in Gorton's corner and I am shocked, disappointed and disapproving of this move, but I'm super, SUPER interested in hearing why the hell this happened, because there just has to be more to it.

This screams of a temper tantrum at the top.
I mean this absolutely screams Dolan. But my question is if we underperformed that means you blame the coach.
Why is Quinn here but jd and gorton gone?
This also feels like a massive distraction from the post yesterday.
How many gms of Gortons caliber are gonna want to come in here now?

Wouldn’t put it past Panarin being significantly injured to a point where he went to ownership and displayed his disappointment and the fact that the FO’s off-season moves consisted of adding no grit or will and decided to distance themselves from a statement that was well written is a joke. Nice to know the President and GM didn’t have the superstar’s back. Dolan did the right thing. His reputation will have people ripping him though.
