I am saying in general. I am not saying just from tonight. If I had been talking about just tonight, I'd of been sure to say it.

His rebound control is brutal. It always has been since he was a rookie with us.

What realm do you live in? Lundqvist has fantastic rebound control. I don't think people here watch the average goaltender. There isn't an aspect of Lundqvist's game that I'd consider weak. He plays deep in his net which makes him more vulnerable up high because he has a harder time cutting down the angle, but he's even improved that over the last few seasons.

There is a reason he is a Vezina winner and 4x Vezina finalist.

Rangers simply took this game for granted (as did most fans). Rangers had the fans attitude for this one.

I agree...way too many here thought the rangers were going to run over the sabres. there is never an easy game in the nhl every team has a chance to win on any given night....ie isles over the canadiens

Also the Rangers need to start changing a bit of strategy in the Ozone. We are becoming too dependent on the Dmen to either pivot or shoot. They have been bad at both lately. Its hurting our offense. Rangers Dmen are not very good under pressure in the ozone...

Nothing they can change this game, but something they should work on next game...

oh did girardi get body slammed too and not have it called?

does gaborik even look to shoot anymore, the puck flys off the stick like its a ****ing grenade.

I live in the realm where every game I watch him give up huge rebounds. Look, I truly think it's his only real fault. He's improved his glove hand, which was his other fault, exponentially since being a rookie. The rebound control has been my only complaint with him over the past 2 years or so. It's always been a problem with him. Even when he could grab the puck with his glove, he chooses to head it out.

Every single goaltender has a weak area. His is rebound control.

Awesome. So our Vezina winning goalie made good saves in the first. Did he forget it's a three period game?

Meh, you have unrealistic expectations. Basically, you expected him to stand on his head and win this game on his own. After the kind of year he had last year, I can understand that.

But heading into tonight, he was 7th in the NHL in SV%. He's top-10 in every major category outside shutouts (which is more team oriented anyway).

He's the last player on this team I'd be *****ing about.
