A player in a contract year is not going to sit out and miss opportunities to collect points unless he's feeling deadly ill. So either he's been hurling all morning or there is a trade coming in the next day or two.
Wings called up Filip Hronek out of the blue yesterday which made me think they are working on trading a defenseman.
They have Luke Witkowski who can play both positions (forward and defense) sitting in the press box, so calling up Hronek makes zero sense. Unless a trade is brewing... who knows.
Trade deadline is over two weeks away - Wings are not going to sit him for two weeks. He's just ill.
Blashill just talks like that - nothing to read into that either. NHL has strict rules against giving too much info on players - he's just checking himself to be very vague.
Maybe it’s Maybelline
Do you know how many players in contract years have sat out games of a potential impending trade? A player doesn’t have the final say about playing.
well i mean eklund said caps were going hard after him and then a few hours later it was reported that wings asked him if he would waive soooooo
Then McDavid is good as gone then.
they do with no trade clauses!!!
ez
problem solved you're welcome
